a nice looking bamboo planter, comes with a container, and even stuff to keep the bamboo hydrated - it's the perfect size and it won't overheat. In other words. You don't need to purchase anything else since it is fully contained! As an FYI, here are some facts about The tiny little bag of solid/gel things should all go in the container and then the container should be filled 1 to 2 days You will see a big difference in 2 days when your new plant is ready to support itself. The directions that come with that package make no sense to me - only because they are so confusing Funny side note it's important to keep track of the tiny balls once they're fully inflated, as some of them may pop out of the top of the container, hitting the table and in my case, rolling onto the floor. It was as if there were 6 tiny black slimy balls at all places, all around my carpet!.
The last time I saw it was in the dead of winter, about four months ago. The roots of the plant were slightly frozen when it arrived, so I wasn't sure if it would survive shipping during the winter. Nearly a month later, the plant is still alive and green.
Even with the care the shipper used to package it, the product arrived yellow and wilted. There was a little pot with a frog on it that was so Unfortunately, the plant is almost certainly going to die soon.
Thankfully the vase was broken and the plant could not be saved, but it all worked out in the end.
The only thing I could think of was to add more beads to keep it in place. Despite this, however. The plant has only been alive for a week or so and is In one stalk, the entire stalk is Since I got it (just kept the moisture gel stuff in the pot), it began to turn yellow and I stopped watering it. As I had done nothing to this plant, I assumed it was water deficient. This morning, I threw some water on the plants. I just returned home and found that the stalk had turned yellower. The yellowing of another one has also been observed.
