I think the biggest difference between the two is the sweetness of the fruit The ingredients probably have something to do with it. My favorite thing about Gem Wraps is their versatility. In spite of being gluten free, I have searched for a wrap alternative for a long time. My go-to is paleowraps, a 100% coconut wrap. You don't always get what you want when you purchase on Amazon. There are times when they are available and times when It would have been better if I had known this earlier and ordered more packages rather than just one. You may not be able to use traditional gluten wraps like I can, so I recommend you try this product. Also, it is very low in carbs. It was delicious! As a result, I am restricted in what I can eat due to more than 50 food allergies. Since my husband and I are always looking for new food that we can eat, we ordered these as soon as they aired on HSN. This is such a great product! I love them because they're light, taste delicious (sweet without being too sweet), and can be topped with lots of different things. In addition to goat cheese, guacamole, shredded lettuce, and some bacon and/or sliced pieces of beef or chicken, I like it best with goat cheese. You can add another wrap around the broken one if it breaks. A great meal for any time of day! There is a lot of filling in them.
My first response was, "I was not sure if these would taste good since they contain kale and apple, don't you think?"? The chicken salad is the best combination with them, but I also enjoy them with vegetables. There is not much of a kale taste to them. They taste like apples with a light apple flavor. My opinion is that this is a lot healthier Depending on how much you fill it up, you may need to hold it together as it is similar to a fruit roll.
This is what these wraps can do for you. Because I did not want to eat the empty carbs of the traditional tortilla, I had to cut out the entire grain. The added veggie and the fact that it stays together for a delicious bite make this the perfect way to add an extra veggie and keep all my fillings together. The flavor is mild and doesn't interfere with my filling. Slices of turkey, two slices of bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato make my favorite BLT (turkey version of a BLT). It is advisable not to roll and eat the wrap too long after a very damp ingredient has been placed on it. The wrap softens with moisture. I like this item because it is like a healthy As well as not getting soggy or splitting apart, they also don't require refrigeration as they have a neutral flavor and are very strong. The only negative I can say about these is that they cost a bit too much, but I still think they are worth it.
Generally, I would rate these 3 stars, but my husband wants 1-5 stars, so I am averaging 4 out of 5 stars. My search for a grain was based on the following criteria This was a free wrap, so I decided to give it a try. I like the sweets - A blandish taste did not work well with all flavors (I paired it with chipotle mayo and the combination was icky). In a more neutral flavor, or perhaps as a "crepe" substitute filled with fruit or as a crepe substitute. In the future, I will buy these again for my husband, who enjoys them. For myself, I will stick to coconut wraps.
