The quality is poor
3/5

Capers that are overly large, soggy rather than firm, pre-smushed in many cases, and flavorless. This purchase was a huge disappointment for me, and I threw it away after opening it. Due to the unpleasant appearance and taste of the product, I'll be looking for 'petite' capers now, in the hopes that this won't happen again. Perhaps the quality is a result of these guys' size, as they are the largest capers I've ever seen!.

If you've ever visited the Mediterranean, you're probably familiar with Capers, also known as large Capotes
4/5

I've had the good fortune to travel all over the Mediterranean, and if you've tried great cuisines like Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Morrish, Egyptian, Greek, Croatian, and so on, you've probably had these larger Capers. They're a lot bigger than the itty-bitty ones. itty-bitty non- We usually see parallels in the teeny-weeny-weeny-weeny-weeny-ween teeny-tiny jars that, if cooked with, quickly vanish; They can be used to decorate a salmon canapé, but that's about it. These big boy Capotes can be used in cooking to add a salty, vinegary, slightly bitter flavor to delicate dishes such as fresh fish in a butter/parsley/caper sauce. That's some excellent material. This size jar is exactly what I've been looking for. They were a good size, firm, and not overly salty when I received them. When chopping with tomatoes and olives for Bruschetta, I like to marinate them in lemon juice, EVOO, and basil or dill. They're exactly what I was hoping for. I avoid using the small capers because they don't hold up well in the kitchen. Capotes add a salty, piquant flavor to pasta, salads, and antipasto. They can also be chopped into a dip or sprinkled with olive oil and a little lemon with yogurt or hummus, or used to brighten a Putanesca Sauce.

The price is reasonable
4/5

a little different from what you'd expect to find in the (U. S. ) ) a supermarket The size is a little bigger than I'm used to (which contributes to a different mouthfeel), but the flavor is the same, albeit a little saltier. Capers aren't something I'm particularly fond of or know much about. Even though they don't grow where I live, I'd say these are on par with or better than the majority of the others I've tried. When compared to buying in the local shops, they are a good deal. It's a large jar, to be sure. As a result, get ready to have a good time - Unless you have a large family, you may have to work hard to use these up. These go well with fish, in my opinion. A simple preparation of lime juice, finely diced shallots, butter, capers, and some caper juice tucked in, as well as a nice piece of salmon cooked en papillote or in a packet of puff paste, will get you started in style.

Disgusting, to use a word that others have used
3/5

Greetings to all,br>Summary: Capers have large, tough berries with an unpleasant chemical flavor. br>I'm new to capers. I bought a small jar at a nearby supermarket. The capers added a unique twist to traditional dishes. The price, however, is prohibitively expensive. br>So, I went to Amazon to see what I could find at a reasonable price. This item isn't worth the money. The berries are large and difficult to eat. There isn't much flavor here. And there's a strong chemical taste to it, so I'm going to throw mine away. br>Good day.

Unappealing texture
3/5

When I ordered these, I had no idea they were the really big capers, not the tiny ones. I liked the flavor, but I didn't like the texture. They were squishy and chewy on the inside. As a result, I threw out the majority of the jar. By this time, it appeared that it was safe to return to the grocery store, and I was able to purchase a small jar of the usual smaller-sized jam. capers of various sizes.

Capers are fantastic
5/5

They are flavorful and, above all, a great value when compared to the tiny jars I find in grocery stores for a lot of money. I use a tablespoon of capers per salad, which means one of those supermarket sizes is gone in one salad. Nothing was broken in the packaging, which was excellent.

Very good price - It's in every salad I make with tuna, salmon, and whitefish
5/5

This is the one that I use. Capers are large and plump, and not as bitter as tiny capers, which I use in seafood salads served over romaine lettuce. They can be minced with onions and celery in a food processor, then blended with your meat or fish of choice; it's a great caper to use in entrees.

It's fat and delicious
5/5

We consume capers at an alarming rate. Because they're so expensive in the grocery store, I've experimented with a few different brands on Amazon. These are a fat and light-weight group of people. This is the type of caper I enjoy the most. My daughter prefers the small, tight capers, but these are my new favorite brand, and I'm looking forward to trying their larger varieties.
