I won't be buying it again because I found a white fingerprint on the food itself. I don't know what it is but it seems like this manufacturing company doesn't make sure their workers are wearing gloves while handling the food.
I have to ask WHAT THE HECK GATED POSITIVE REVIEWS ON THIS? You'd find this in one of those dreadful meat and cheese baskets that never go bad (or right). It's like the drunken bastard child of a Slim Jim and something somewhat nasty. In almost every case, I would throw away food, but this is so awful I can't even think of any use for.

It's not as spicy as I like, but the meat-like texture is good. Overall, the taste and texture are fine, as is the composition. However, the consistency of the casing can vary, and sometimes it is too thin to be able to remove it so chewing can be unpleasant. A thin slice, however, on a pizza, doesn't really show that.
For the price, I think it's pretty damn good pepperoni. I am an Italian, so it's not the best pepperoni I have ever tried.
