Once opened, this product must be stored in the refrigerator. We usually eat ours up pretty quickly after opening a jar, so it usually lasts us 2 or 3 weeks after opening. We love it so much that once opened, we're going to eat it up pretty fast, so that's why it lasts so long. There's a good chance it would last even longer.
Based only on what I see on the jar, I am able to investigate. Sweets are not included. FYI, this is a fantastic idea

The first time we tried this recipe was in Florida, but we couldn't find it in California's grocery stores, so we ordered it from In order to get the freshest product, we had to order 6 jars, and we feared that we would not use them up before the expiration date. We are not only using it up quickly, but we will order another six jars soon as well! I love the combination of spicy and smoky flavors in this dish. There was a leak in one of the jars (the top was not secure) and a jar that broke. There was no damage to the box the item came in, just the bubble wrap inside the bubble wrap.
