As a first point, let me state that I did not order light sour cream. It was thrown into my order when original sour cream was unavailable. Nevertheless, I did not hate the light sour cream! I really like the light sour cream it's made with! If you like Sour Cream, this is delicious! Even though it may not be quite as thick as the original, if you need that much sour cream just to eat something, then there are far worse matters on the horizon! You can mix some yogurt into the mixture and chill it This is one way to make it thicker!.
We like this sour cream because it is light. Flavor is great and consistency is excellent. A natural product without any artificial additives.
However, I have been using it for years and absolutely The full fat variety isn't as appealing to me as the low fat variety. This product has great thickness and creaminess.
Despite the fact that the regular version tastes better, the light does not dim. I love both of them and they aren't high in calories. You can add them to soups made with celery or potatoes of any kind.
Sour cream without fat is the best!.
