This is a great There is nothing like the packets you buy from the store where you add milk and add to your potatoes after they are cooked. For sour cream to be created, you need to add this culture to milk and let it ferment at room temperature for a number of hours. As soon as it's done, I'm sure you can add sour cream to your dish!

This product wasn't going to work, but what an amazing job it did making It was hard for me to believe that this product could make sour cream but it did an amazing job
5/5

Since I could not find pasteurized cream in my area, I had to use ultra pasteurized cream. In the end, I made only a quart of sour cream with just one starter pack. There is a temperature of 188oF in my cream Once it has reached 190 degrees, I turn the heat off and let it gradually cool down to 77 degrees before adding Although I had to wait 36 hours for my cream to set up, it was quite thick once it did. A baked potato goes well with the taste of the fresh fruit. This is a product I will be buying again, and I plan to try some of their other products as well. The taste is so much better when you make your own, and making your own is very easy.

Are you spoiled? There was a moist, yellowish stone in the corner of my sour cream culture packets which I had to peel off and soak in order to dissolve
3/5

The culture doesn't appear to have been culturing either, so I'm assuming that the cultures have been extinct for a while. There was a strong smell of heat and moisture coming from the object. They claim it can't be returned because it's not a returnable item.

I have never had sour cream as good as this! I've never eaten better sour cream to my knowledge! The powdered Anthony's full-strength alcohol I used is reconstituted To make the starter, mix 16 Tbsp (1 cup) fat cream with 1 packet of starter per pint of water
5/5

As per the package instructions, I used my instapot on the regular yogurt setting to incubate the yogurt for 18 hours (we do not keep our home warm enough to keep the yogurt on a delicious sour cream that is thick, creamy, and uniform! Since going to the supermarket is few and far between these days, what a delight to have fresh-picked fruits and vegetables I made my own sour cream with staple ingredients from my pantry.

Is it old? The moisture is too much! It was so exciting to receive this so I could make a cashew/coconut vegan sour cream, but I wasn't sure if it would work with other nuts and seeds My plans were to try the 'cream', but it would be dairy-based
3/5

There were a total of four packets - It has been a while since I've opened the other two - These clumps of feces were yellow, sticky, moist, and clumpy. It was only a sticky mass. I put it through a mesh strainer to break it up, but it was still stuck together. There was no need for me to use this. Whether or not they were active is unknown to me. My complaint is not against the seller, it is just about this specific product, and I would like.

This batch of products was of low quality and a waste of my money and time
3/5

As a Chef and a user of fermented products, I feel dismayed by this since I used these products before with no problems. The Sour Cream Culture was ordered and I followed all the instructions twice (to be sure) and wasted my heavy cream and the money this product cost. There are no words to describe my frustration with this product.

There was nothing I could do! I thought it looked like such a nice company, but it didn't work out
3/5

I've been curious about Cultures for Health for years now and finally managed to buy from them because I could afford the price tag. A pair of these I bought The starter for sour cream and the starter for heirloom yogurt. When I saw how simple it would be to make my own yogurt, sourcream, and even cheese, I was so excited! My story is long, but after many attempts with both starterz, I finally threw away the remaining packets. There was nothing I could do! A company that seemed nice at first glance, but was nothing but In fact, I wonder now if any of these cultures exist at all. The bottom line is, don't waste any time or money It's better to buy your yogurt at the grocery store as a.

According to the description, the program works

I was very happy with the culture. It only takes a few minutes to complete In order to make a thicker sour cream, I drained the mixture in cheese cloth until I was satisfied with the consistency I.

It is a waste When I learned I could make my own nutrient-rich smoothie, I was so excited The best sour cream is one that's rich in probiotics
3/5

After following the instructions on the packet literally, there was no thickening, so I'm now left with four sad mason jars. It took forever for the culture itself to dissolve because it was encrusted in one flat clump. It's horrible to have put all that time into something only to have absolutely nothing come out of it. I guess it's nothing to worry about.
