A brownish or pale yellow color was present in my package. There wasn't a good smell in the air. My first attempt at it was unsuccessful after I tasted a small portion. Can Parmesan Cheese turn rancid? I didn't know it was possible. It was something about what I received that did not sit well with me.
The dates on the Parmesan and Asiago are both 8/27/2021, so they will not be opened until eleven months hence. This tells another story, as once exposed to air and humidity as well as refrigeration, it is sure that they will shorten. Compared to the containers I have, they are in good condition, they are in good color, and the safety seals are

In fact, I expected deli quality and ended up with the same lack of flavor and fine grinding as those found in the green shaker top tubes at the grocery store. There is even the same cellulose filler found in less expensive store brands and national As a whole, we were deeply Our parmesan will be used up by then, then we will go to the deli counter to buy real, unadulterated 100% parmesan.
I have bought many different types of cheeses before, and this is by far the blandest. Cheese of this kind was without a doubt the worst I've ever tasted. This is not a product I would I don't know how it got stuck to the sealed film. It was like moisture might have gotten inside. The worst kind of news.
You can choose between cheap Kraft parmesan and expensive freshly grated parmigiano reggiano. There was a medium brown color to it, it smelled bad, and it tasted rancid or spoiled (yes, I tried a small bit). As long as I didn't get sick from tasting it, I was okay. Having looked at the containers, the date on the containers did not show an expiration date, so I believe it was either exposed to unusual environmental factors, or it was already spoiled at that time. (Also, the advertising for "imported parmesan" is just a bit misleading, since it's imported not from Italy as one might be led to believe/hope, A) All of the cups looked and smelled the same My only taste was the one I had. In the end, they all ended up in the garbage.
The grated cheese was too fine for the pasta though. The taste was good, but the texture was like a powder instead of a grate.
There was a time when the cheese was white, and it tasted great at an affordable price. But now, it is tan-colored and it's quite expensive. The color red. In other words, it's brown with white bits mixed in. Like the stuff I was trying to avoid at the grocery store, this cheese isn't as good and doesn't taste as much like cheese.
It seems they had to add fillers or something (I'm assuming) in order to make more money. It won't be bought anymore and I will try to find a cheese substitute that tastes more like the real thing. *Edit
On top of that, it is often poorly packaged and damaged when it arrives. Quite a few pics (see below).
I ordered this cheese since we were having trouble getting a delivery slot at the two major supermarkets in our area. A lot of mid-range games are just as good as this one Cheeses sold at supermarkets at a reasonable price, tasty and lower in calories. Our cheese still comes from Amazon, even though we get regular deliveries from the supermarket.
As far as Amazon deliveries go, I didn't receive these two tubs until yesterday afternoon from Amazon. I am not sure if this is a reflection on the product itself or on how Amazon stores and delivers it. The two tubs of Parmesan contain brown cheese. Once you open the seal, the product smells off and has a damp feel. In addition to the two spoiled tubs, Amazon replaced the product with two more.
Even though the container of the product was smashed by heavier products in the same box, the product still arrived on time. Currently, it smells fresh and fragrant, tastes cheesy, is evenly colored, and is Upon tasting, I found it to not be too salty. This product is very nice.
