Is it possible that so many positive reviews were written about this unspeakably disgusting topping? It is unfortunate that I have been required to write this critical review in accompanyence with the sweet siren song of praise for this product. You might be tempted to jump into a sea of reviews that gushes about how "too delicious" or "no different from real parmesan" this is or even worse, you might overreact to the more than 1,200 negative reviews on Amazon. You need to know - Cheese, like its king, is not exempt from this rule If you take a dive into this sea of undeserved accolades, you will find yourself tempted to purchase two jars of sawdust. We are a vegan family of five, and we know a thing or two about making meat substitutes work. We love vegan cheeses, hotdogs, and cold cuts, so maybe it's no surprise we are less afraid of them than one might expect. Why is this happening? Our whole team was frightened when we saw this There is nothing like cheese about it. It is unsalable, stinky, and inedible. As soon as we checked the expiration date (nope, still "good"), then the food safety seals (nope, they were intact), we realized immediately that we were in the presence of the worst vegan cheese substitute ever (and we're not just saying that). It's probably a good thing that I was so eager to believe the over the top reviews, but I guess I should have been a bit skeptic. For destroying my faith in humanity and nearly ruining my Puttanesca, I give you one star.

If you need a substitute for parmesan cheese, this is the one to use. There are no animal products in it, no gluten, no nuts A genetically modified organism. This product is dairy free, casein free, and lactose A perfect food for those who cannot eat It is perfect for dairy eaters that crave the taste of parmesan. The only problem is for those who cannot have soy, which I do, but not everyone else. I make an Alfredo sauce for pasta that comes out exactly I've missed this wonderful taste, so I'm thrilled to have it back! For those of you as I am who can't have lactose, or who are vegan, or just want to lower their cholesterol, this is the best alternative. The following ingredients are used in this recipe Citric acid, vitamin A acetate, soy lecithin).

Parmesan cheese use to be a family favorite for our vegan family. After we became vegan, we tried to seek a suitable replacement and found this. I believe we used it as much as other families do with table salt. This is a mixed bag of findings. The bottles' seals were loose after they were received in the package. It appeared that the shrink wrapped containers had already taken on air, even though they had been sealed.
Initially its consistency was similar to common parmesan cheeses and its taste was similar to typical cheese, even though it was dryer than normal cheeses. As a result of this product caking in subsequent uses after refrigeration, a block of this product had to be cut up with a knife. Despite its price, this product is TINY for the price. I am certain the dairy costs for making it are much higher than your typical cheese products. I paid for quality and I would do so again. As soon as it is chopped, it returns to its I do believe that it is all about taste There are very few options when it comes to a parmesan type topping, so it is not likely to satisfy those looking for that kind of topping. Our consumption is not close to what we would use if we were using normal cheese. The brand has chosen to support people for a number of different reasons and we would continue to utilize this. I hope you will try it for yourself and your loved ones. I honestly believe that it will help you and your family as it helped.

One thing you won't find in this book Adding a bit of color to any dish with dairy products. The cheese I used on this pizza was from naan bread. My favorite part was the music. On steamed broccoli, I topped this cheese with a slice of cheddar cheese, and they devoured the broccoli in no time. There's nothing better than the taste of this! Having fun discovering new products to make their food exciting and more enjoyable is a great thing for me. There is one child in my family and two grand children who are allergic to dairy, and they all love I'm so glad to have garlic bread again with pasta! You can sprinkle it on mac n' cheese, salads, etc. It can come as a solid block if the container is closed. If you don't know how to break it into powder again, take off the lid and then dig it up with a butter knife or fork, until you can dump it out into a mortar.

I really like how well this replacement works! In my opinion, it is best to use it sparingly, because too much of it can be off-putting. It is solidified into one chunk, so I have to stab it aggressively for a few minutes before I can shake enough crumbs out to make it worth one star.

Since the cheese didn't come out of the jar when I opened it, I took off the lid and discovered that it was packed solid, so hard that I had to take a knife to break it up so I could put it in the blender to be able to shake it out. By the time I received it, I think it was very old, so I am not going to recommend it to anyone.

As real as the real thing, it looks, smells and tastes just like it. A normal person would not know the difference between the packages if they didn't see them.
