As a result of the lockdown, it has been really difficult to locate good cheese, so finding this French brie on Amazon was super exciting for me. This is a cheese I've ordered several times, and it's one of my favorites - I don't miss my cheesemonger nearly so much now. If you serve it at room temperature, make sure it's at room temperature first The flavor is buttery and really comes to the fore when the tea is warmed In fact, I leave it out overnight before serving it, and it is just about perfect. It makes a great addition to your cheeseboard or an indulgent treat for two when you're binge watching If you have pears or tart apples, this is a must try. The Amazon delivery service is a permanent addition to my grocery list.
Among the Brie on Amazon that I found, this was the only one that was truly imported from abroad and not imported from California. This cheese is very good, soft and creamy with a decent taste. The reason for my choice is that I prefer Camembert over Brie, because it tastes more flavorful. Others reviewers state they received the product after it expired. Cheese gets stale after expiration due to the fermentation process, so it won't "go bad" after expiration. For me, it's very important that the fruit is really ripe, which is why I like it past its expiration date. However, one thing I did notice about it is that it is a small iPad. A typical Brie or Camembert found at Central Market or Spec's is about 1/3 of the size. I'll post a picture that shows its true size in the palm of my hand.
