Yes. The original Bit o Honey bars were a childhood favorite of mine, and they remained so in my adult life. Although I prefer the original, I find these to be a suitable substitute.
So, what exactly is the issue? Do they want to know how long a bag of Bit-Its lasts? Honey. or are they inquiring as to what "Shelf Life" actually means?
I don't think so. It's been a long time since I've placed an order, so I can't recall exactly what I ordered. It is, however, delicious.
Only the strong odor of honey lingered in my nostrils.

I've never been a big candy eater, but there are a few OLDIES that I've always enjoyed over the course of my 75 years. They are, unfortunately, difficult to come by in our area. My old favorites, however, are still available thanks to Internet Suppliers. Now, Bit- Honey still satisfies that nagging desire. When compared to the price of the tiny offerings found on candy racks at grocery and drug stores, this large bag is a great deal. They were delivered on time and in a box to protect the structure of the candies. Now I know where I can refuel my desire, but these are going to last a long time!.
I never know where this 3 pound package of Bit o Honey is coming from when I order it. I believe this is the fourth or fifth time I've placed an order. They're always stale and hard as a rock when they arrive in the Sweet Gourmet bag. They are always fresh and nice and chewy when they arrive in the clear plastic bag with only a label that says what they are, the way BIT O HONEY should be! Where they come from is always a gamble, and I have no control over it. I've been a fan of Bit o Honey since I was a kid, but I think I'll have to stop ordering them from here.
These were purchased for my 95-year-old mother. Mother is a year old. They are adored by her. She likes to take two and microwave them for 10 seconds before eating them as a snack while watching "Judge Judy. " They come highly recommended by her.
I'm going from a two-star rating to a four-star rating. I didn't pay enough attention to the Bit-Packet's packaging. I bought some honey candies. I suppose cataract surgery is to blame - It did not go according to plan. I gave them a two-star rating because I didn't think they were the same candies I had as a kid. They're made by Pearson Candy Company in St. Paul, as it turns out.
In my class, we were reading Rebecca Stead's "When You Reach Me," in which one of the characters eats Bit-O-Bit-O-Bit-O-Bit-O-Bit-O-Bit-O-Bit-O Candies made of honey I purchased this package to share with my students because they had never heard of it. It went over extremely well. The candy was soft, tasty, and fresh. It was convenient that it came in a large bag rather than several smaller bags (which would have been much more expensive).
For the past 75 years, I've been a huge fan of this candy. since before World War II It used to come in a waxed strip of paper with the same-sized pieces laid out alternately. 8 bars in total After that, it was wrapped in a Bit- Wrapper made of honey I used to think there were too few pieces in each package when I was a kid. I can now get a three-pound bag of them. Each item is packaged separately. YUMMMMM! It's still my all-time favorite confection. However, the number of almonds has decreased, and the almond flavor is no longer as strong as it once was. But that isn't going to stop me from getting my 3 pound bag. Amazon is to be thanked. I had to say that when I ordered something from Amazon. It was the very first piece of mail I received. The seller was extremely prompt in responding to my inquiries. And the bars aren't as hard as they appear to be after sitting on the shelf for a long time. The bars are delicious and refreshing to chew. I'll keep buying these sweets until I die. (Given that I am 80 years old): You'll like them if you try them!.
Bit was a favorite of mine. When I was a kid growing up in Minneapolis in the 1940s and 1950s, I used to love honey candy. 50s. This tasty honey-flavored taffy with nuts, which was sold in six wax paper wrapped pieces for a nickel back in the day, has been lost touch with and supply. Because the taffy pieces were connected together like a belt for machine gun ammo, I named it machine gun bullet candy. Anyway, it's great to see this classic candy pop up again, and it tastes just as good today as it did 70 years ago. Get your hands on some, but be cautious- It's possible to become addicted to it without realizing it. The candy in my last order was a little out of date; it was still tasty, but not as fresh as it should have been.
This is a delectable confection - exactly like the one I used to eat as a kid It's chewy, not brittle, and every bite is bursting with flavor! I'm so happy to have found it again. I'm currently enjoying my second order, and each piece in both orders has been perfect; however, if the candy is not stored properly, it will become dry and brittle over time. It's best if you keep it in a tightly sealed container. I store mine in a glass candy jar or a small metal can with a secure lid.
