If you haven't already done so, now is the time. Dont! I've been eating about 25 candies every night for the past year. After dinner, I used to eat pies, cakes, or another delectable dessert. But now, every night, it's just Bit O Honey. There's something in them that makes you want to eat them all the time. When I run out, I place another order for the next day's delivery. I guarantee you'll be in a 12 step by winter if you buy 5 lbs of this.
According to some reviews, the quality of these products can be subpar. The package I received is flawless, with individually wrapped items that are perfectly wrapped and flawless contents. The candies are soft to the touch and have a pleasant flavor. The packaging as a whole is brand new. I used to eat the Bit-O-Bit when I was younger. Bars made with honey. These were ordered for my father, who is a big Bit-head. But, honey, these are a huge letdown. The majority of them are stuck to the wrapper and squashed, with a bland flavor. My father-in-law had to peel the wrapper off with his knife. Perhaps they became too hot during storage or transportation, or perhaps they are simply old. This is the first time I've ordered anything like these in bulk; perhaps that's how they're supposed to be. Theme is not something I would recommend.
This was a disaster! They weren't stale or old, but the texture and flavor were revolting. I'm starting to doubt if they were truly bit o honey because they look like they were made with a different oil or even soaked in oil at one point. Regrettably, I was unable to obtain a refund or return. Do you believe this was due to my fault?.
I was so pleased that I recently placed an order for another bag. The second bag had to be a lot older than the first. The candy is extremely hard and does not have the same fresh flavor as the original. I understand that some bags may be fresher than others, but this is extremely difficult to consume. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing candy from this seller in the future.
Groovy Candies is where I usually get interesting candy to stuff my Christmas gift packages. However, this five-pound bag of Bit O Honeys (each individually wrapped) was a far better deal - They were also quite new. I'm not sure how Amazon manages to do this. When I couldn't find Tootsie Roll Pops locally, I ordered them from Amazon in hundred-count boxes. They arrived in just over a day and a half! AMAZON, YOU ARE AMAZING!.
