Although I think the ginger flavor in Chimes is stronger, the texture is nearly the same. A favorite of mine used to be chimes- I still like the lemon/cayenne flavor, but they seem excessively expensive to me. Both the taste and price of the Prince of Peace appeal to me. I have been eating ginger candies for years to help relieve the discomfort of IBS, and they really work.

It helps immensely to chew on a couple of these before I attempt to eat and afterward if I am still feeling queasy. For those who are wondering, they are made with strong ginger and taste in a way like spicy food. They aren't like ginger ale with just a light sweetness, I prefer to compare them more to candy, Since my wife was from Jamaica and she loved stuff like this, she introduced it to my life. I am grateful she did, or else I may not have eaten at all since she passed away.
These are delicious, I recently purchased them and they're just what I wanted. The ginger bites are sweet, chewy, and spicy and they are addictive. They are rather small pieces, though it isn't a problem because it makes them easier to handle. The picture shows what we mean. Having IBS and frequently feeling nauseated after eating is what led to me getting these. It helps a lot to have ginger on hand. That ginger is from Indonesia is interesting to me. These ginger chews are amazing, proving that they know the power of ginger.

I bought 2 of them The ginger chews were delicious, I would definitely buy them again. My bag had become too small, so I decided to get a larger one. As soon as I received the new smaller bag **2, it was a big deal to me. It seemed they were old and stale at 2lbs. I find it very difficult not to chew. The brand of ginger chews I am addicted to is Prince of Peace and I do not care about the price. The weight is 2 lbs. BUY THIS AMAZING BAG FOR A CHEAP I have tried all kinds of ginger chews out there and they are the best. Now is the time to buy!.
As opposed to that, they are partly hard and partially When you have ever had these when they are fresh and soft, you'll realize that this 2lbs and a reasonable price would not be a great deal when you are getting old products.
The first bag I purchased was the 4 oz pack to try, I then bought the 1 lb bag because we really liked it, so for pricing reasons I decided to go for the 2lb bag instead. It is not quality like it used to be. I previously read this comment and thought the reviewer was just picky, but it turned out to be all the way on. Perhaps this bag is going to sit there for a long time. There is no chewy part to this candy. It is easy to eat the candy from the smaller bags since they are soft. With the 2 pound bag, you have a chance to win something. It was a good 5 on the hard scale, meaning that it was really hard. Still good flavor, but not the same as before. Despite the fact that they are advertised as chewable hard candy, I buy them still. Keep the 1 pound bag in mind.
