When Fredrick and Nelson store in Seattle introduced Frangos to our lives, it was a great moment. Others loved receiving these as gifts. There are a few companies that make these lil nuggets of smooth, chocolate goodness, and Dilettante Chocolates is one of them. My friends all agree that this is a must-have! It's good to have mint truffles like this. Yet, there is a problem They were part of Amazon prime last year which meant they got free 2 day shipping and a really good deal. They are expensive, yes, but they are also The company is now not paying nearly $9 and does not seem to be listening. The cost of shipping is $10. 00. Over the holidays, they are excellent, but the shipping price is a deal-breaker and is not justified. Sadly, it looks like we will not be able to take these and will seek out fresher, better quality candies elsewhere. If they offer free shipping one day, I will consider purchasing them again if the company comes back on Prime.

Can I sum up Dilettante Chocolates in one sentence? The smooth texture and the amazing taste make them a great choice. Those who enjoy good chocolate will find this to be the best deal at this price. They are from Belgium. The family has been making chocolates there for hundreds of years. The Chocolate Factory was first opened on Capitan Hill in Seattle in the 1970's. We are no longer able to recall those days. It had a small store front with space for about 30 people and a back room where you could see how they were made. There was a time when Grand Mariner truffles were made I rolled it by hand. The gods have smiled on me. Truffles made by hand are certainly worth their weight in gold, they truly are the real thing. They used to have a small shop at 1st and Pine, but I don't know if that is still in existence (I live outside the Seattle area), but the hand-rolled truffles they make are incredible.

There is a lot of smoothness in these chocolates. It is honestly the bitterness of dark chocolate, such as when you have to let it melt instead of chewing it, that I wanted. These were delicious and so smooth that I treated them like milk chocolate truffles, and I was able to eat more than I had planned on. There are quite a few cookies in this jar, and limiting myself to one per day should allow me to enjoy it for a long time. It's nice to have them in a jar where they are so fresh. As far as the white powder the other reviewer complained about, it is just It's obvious they spent the extra money to make sure it didn't melt because the box stated "One-year limited warranty" There is a "1-2 day shipping" option The price is really high, based on my personal experience.

I liked the peppermint flavor very much, 5 stars. I'd give the group an overall rating of It has a great flavor and a good I didn't enjoy the toffee as it had a butterscotch flavor, although I was certain others would like it. I enjoyed the dark chocolate more than Lindt, but I prefer it. A blood orange has just a hint of orange flavor and is good, but Upon tasting the milk chocolate, it reminded me of those cheap Palmer chocolate bunnies without the waxy texture, so if you like those, this would be an upgrade. There may be times when portions of the chocolate do not Since I like them ok, but I don't think I would binge on them (like Lindor or Snickers), this might be a good chocolate for me. As far as I knew, other reviews implied addictively good gameplay, but I didn't believe it.

Nose picked up on the nuances! The first version I ordered was the mint, but I decided to try the variety jar as well. Reviews stated that all of them had a mint flavor, but that is not true to my taste. Although if you eat a group of them together, the mint does have a strong presence (which I love), so I think it might obscure the nuance of the other flavors a bit. My words sound like those of a chocolate snob so now I sound like one. It was nice to have these individually wrapped, that they use a nice jar I can put on my counter (or out of reach on the treadmill), and they had decent flavors. I liked them all. By taking only one, I don't end up like the cat who eats bon bons. This is a great gift option because the color-coded wrappers make it easy to identify the flavors for those who like to pick and choose. The different flavors were intriguing, but I am a fan of the mint flavor.

It's sooo good to eat these! In a similar fashion to It is one of my favorite foods to eat Frango mint chocolates (from what was formerly Marshall Fields in Chicago). My love for these chocolate truffle mints was rekindled when I found them at Costco. Similar to Frangos, they look just like them. There is a little more flex in the pieces, and the satisfaction is similar, but it's a little softer. It was a wonderful surprise to find this package through Amazon, I haven't seen them at Costco in quite some time, but this is a really great deal. I received the shipment in perfect condition and in a timely manner.

It's not that I don't like mint ones, but toffee is my favorite flavor, so I had to try these too. Despite the fact that they were Dilettante, I still like the mint ones, which I am addicted to, best. Given my addiction, I am likely to be unfair in my assessment. There is no doubt that you will enjoy them! The fudge they make really has improved with time. I have been enjoying their chocolates since they were a tiny shop The Cornish is a dance hall and I like to go there for treats. My meal plan was blown to bits, but it was well worth every calorie, and every cent!.
