However, it's a hit or miss situation. When these barkTHINS are fresh, the chocolate is dark and beautiful, and the thins have a delicious mix of dark chocolate flavor, coconut, crunch, and a slight hint of salt; they're absolutely addictive. I've ordered several bags from this company, and the most recent ones have "bloomed" chocolate and a different taste. The white that is being discussed and seen on chocolate is known as chocolate bloom. They're still edible, but they're not quite as good as the original, undamaged chocolate thins. I ordered the barkTHINS sample assortment from Amazon a few months ago and it was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

There's no time to run to the store, the refrigerator is empty, and you're hungry. Amazon Prime door-to-door delivery is a godsend. It has a great texture. Although the coconut and almonds are crunchy, the dark chocolate has turned white due to age or heat exposure. It's also disgustingly stale in flavor. Into the trash it goes. Today is a day for weight loss.

These were fantastic, and I bought a bag of them at the airport. So I bought them from Amazon, and they were terrible. Despite the fact that it was only early April, they had mostly melted into large lumps. Furthermore, some, if not all, of the items appeared to be antiques. It was the color of dry coca leaves on the surface. I'm disappointed because I was hoping to discover a new chocolate delicacy. Please keep in mind that Amazon does not accept food returns.

Only the dark chocolate toasted coconut with almonds has been tried by me. The flavors of coconut and almond aren't overpowering. More than tasting the coconut, you can feel its texture. The chocolate is merely adequate. It appeared to be white as well. Dove or even Hershey's are my preferred brands. I think the next time I'll just make my own bark because it'll be much cheaper and I'll be able to control the amount of coconut and almonds I use.

The dark chocolate is sweet but not overpoweringly so, like some check-out-line candy bars, and the coconut adds a nice contrast to the flavor. Overall, it's a good value; it's comparable to Aldi dark chocolate bars, in my opinion.
