Strawberry frosted PopTarts in a pack. It was a commercial box with pastries wrapped in different wrappers, as well as a display box. There was no "use by" date anywhere that I could find. That's significant because the first time I opened the package, the smell was revolting. The flavor was excellent as well. Yes, I had the audacity to try some! The flavor was vile to the point of being offensive. It seemed impossible to ruin a Pop Tart, but this package managed to do just that! The pastries appeared to be much smaller, and the "stuff" on top of them looked like a poor substitute for frosting. This particular size package appears to be some stale leftovers. I wouldn't give it to a stray animal if it was over that. Strays should not be fed garbage, but instead should be fed decent food. It takes a lot to persuade me to write a negative review of any product, but this one deserves two. I'm not going to buy Pop Tarts if I can't get the packaging that I'm used to.
These can be made in a toaster or microwaved, and I even tried heating them in the oven while preparing something else to save energy. Each of the three approaches worked well. They are also delicious straight from the package and do not require heating. They're good for a quick burst of energy while on the go, in my opinion. When opening the package, be careful because the corners tend to crumble. To make sure the crumbs didn't go to waste, I used them like bread crumbs in soups. I hope you enjoy yourself!.
While these Pop Tarts appear to be normal at first glance, closer inspection reveals that they have significantly less fruit filling and frosting than those sold in stores (see photo, though it may be difficult to see), as if they are malnourished (ha). I'm not sure if these are the same people who work for the company. They may be unloading rejected Pop Tarts on the side (Amazon customers), or they may have been made by trainees.
The box containing the Pop Tarts was squished down from the top, and every single Pop Tart was broken from the top, despite the Prime Pantry box being undamaged and well-packed with plenty of cushioning. Of course, you can't toast broken bread. It's a real pain. In addition, this is the first time I've tried the strawberry flavor, and I'm not a fan. The frosted raspberry is one of my favorites, but they're becoming increasingly difficult to come by. That is why I decided to experiment with strawberry. However, due to the fact that they were all broken, I will not be ordering Pop Tarts in this or any other flavor again.
Best wishes to you. Pop tarts are a great snack to have on hand when you need something quick and tasty. Sometimes I toast them, and other times I eat them straight from the bag. I don't recall eating my first pop tart, but I'm sure I've had them from time to time throughout my life. Now that I'm a grandmother, I still give them to my two adult sons and, of course, their children. I'll take a box of pop tarts over a simple cupcake or doughnut when they're under a buck each.
I remember when these were first introduced when I was a kid. My favorite flavors are cherry and strawberry, with iced popsicles coming in second. Over the plain, tarts are preferred. I'm not interested in trying any of the bizarre flavors they've released in recent years. I suppose they're attempting to pique the interest of the younger generation.
When I needed a sugar fix, I went to the vending machine and got a 50. This is the most affordable option (even cheaper than Wally World). br>They arrived undamaged via Amazon Pantry, and I must say that Amazon has been using more appropriate boxes recently (the boxes are thicker than their standard boxes, and they use plastic pillows to fill in dead space so they weren't jostled around). I liked how long their expiration date was. Some people have mentioned that the expiration dates on pantry items are not long enough.
The box, on the other hand, arrived undamaged, with all of the poptarts still in tact. They appear to be identical to any other store-bought poptarts. Definitely worth purchasing!.
