Gluten-free food is important to me because I have celiac disease. In a couple of reviews, people complained that regular corn meal was used instead of gluten free corn meal. There is no way I can cope with this. It is the seller's responsibility to educate themselves about gluten-free if they don't know what it is. It's so awful I can't even return the damn thing. DO NOT BUY IT ON THE OFFENSE AND THINK IT'S GLUTEN FREE, IT'S NOT.

The Gluten Free version of Bob's Red Mill Grits (Polenta) was ordered. It says "Gluten Free" across the top of the bag in the picture on Amazon. Outside the packaging of the two packages I received, there is a typed label that says gluten-free, but I found no mention of gluten-free anywhere within the package. Having celiac disease, I must only consume foods marked "Gluten Free. " I know corn is gluten free naturally however, I will not eat corn that isn't gluten free. This package even states that it is made with wheat in a facility. The labeling on Bob's Red Mill products indicates that it's gluten free, but I can't trust the seller to ship me the gluten free products.

You can't expect what you see in the advertisement. As you can see from the picture, this is not the "Gluten Free" Polenta. There is no way to return them since they have falsely advertised that they are. I was diagnosed with celiac disease along with my child, which means they can only consume gluten-free Please do not order this item if you are in need of a gluten free food. It is not technically gluten free.

We always order from Bob's Polenta. Because I couldn't find what I was looking for at the grocery store, I ordered it on It's easy to see why polenta is such a comforting The one we make is enriched with chicken stock and we cook it for 45 minutes at least. A silky comfort that soothes and calms!.

Everything that comes from Bob's Red Mill is the best. To keep it fresh, I keep it in the freezer. I never have any problems with lumps when I cook it. I now buy it from Amazon because my local grocery no longer carries it. It is a pleasure working with Amazon.
