It doesn't have the same flavor. The texture is a little different as well. However, for us British expats who miss our British Weetabix, it's a good substitute. However, there is a distinction- with no doubt

pats! This British cereal has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid - There's a lot of flavor, a great texture, and it's healthy, with none of the sugar that's so common in American breakfast cereals. Trader Joe's and a few other stores used to carry it, so it was easy to get it locally until a few months ago. TJ's abruptly removed it from their shelves a few months ago, and things went from bad to worse. Drat, TJ! br>br>Thank goodness Amazon carries it; otherwise, I'd be hounding UK relatives to send me some boxes. Try it with soy or other milk, sliced bananas/blueberries/raspberries/kiwi/raisins, or whatever else you like for a truly unique breakfast experience. In colder climates, it's also delicious with warm milk.
This is something I buy on a regular basis and enjoy, but I will not pay that much for it.
There's a slight nutty flavor to it. I bought it because it's a low-calorie, high-fiber cereal and I wanted to try something new. br>br>Texture is a term used to describe the texture of something. These biscuits are dry and flaky, and they crumble easily. I've only had them dry so far. Shredded wheat isn't as 'tender' as this. br>br>Taste: There's no exact comparison here, but there's a faint nuttiness, perhaps a hint of wheat thins, but no salt. br>br>They're not bad; I'll experiment with dusting them with a sugar substitute and perhaps cinnamon; I'll get creative, but for now, I'm going to eat them dry.
Wheetabix is disliked by some because it is said to become soggy. Eating it is unquestionably a form of art. Put some fruit, such as prunes, berries, or bananas, in the milk and make sure it doesn't cover the biscuits. And, of course, eat it right away. It's low in sugar and high in fiber, which will help you stay regular. For the past 15 years, I've been eating it almost every day. During my time in Europe, I was introduced to it. I wish it was more widely available in the United States, but I'm grateful that Amazon has it.
I'm a regular buyer of this product, but there's something wrong with the price, which varies between $4 and $11 at times. What justifies trying it? So, five stars for the product, one star for the price, which makes the customer feel insecure. I've also attached a screenshot.
These are tiny wheat flakes that have been compressed into blocks. Each wheat block is approximately 3" x 1" in size. 1 inch by 1/2" Tightly compressed tiny whole wheat flakes were combined with barley malt extract, Cane Sugar, salt, and a pinch of Niacin and Thiamin. Milk does not flow into the biscuit. br>br> The texture isn't as appealing as Post unsweetened biscuits, and it has added sugar, though only 2g per two biscuit serving. Protein, fat, carbs, fiber, and sodium are all in the same proportions per serving. It fails to satisfy me in terms of texture and mouth feel. On the plus side, there is no BHT and it supplies a surprising amount of iron 40% DV in comparaison to Post 10%. However, Post Biscuit has 9 servings per 15 oz box and 54g total protein, whereas Weetabix has 35g protein per 14 oz box. With Wheetabix, you get a lot less protein per box. br>br>Serving size: 3 bisquits (53g) per container, seven servingsbr>Nutrition per serving:

I've been eating Weetabix for at least 50 years, so finding an organic version was fantastic. It also appears that there is less sugar, which can't be a bad thing. I usually make mine at night (in the same way that people make cornflakes), but I only use hot water and a pinch of sugar. This keeps me full while I'm on the slimming world diet, which allows me to eat only two weetabix per day.
Coming from the United States, I had no idea what this was all about. I initially mistook it for a joke when I saw it. It didn't appear to be particularly tasty. But I was completely mistaken. I used to enjoy the challenges of doing things differently than others. Honey and peanutbutter or honey and banana are two of my summertime favorites. Of course, with almond milk (I'm allergic to dairy). Warm almond milk with honey and nuts, or just honey on its own, in the winter. I also enjoy it with a dollop of plain yogurt. I could tell you how I have it in every way, but you should try it out for yourself. Because some reviews stated that it wasn't the same, I was skeptical. However, my British husband and I both agree that it tastes the same. utterly delicious!.
