It doesn't have a chocolate flavor to it
3/5

We chose this chocolate syrup because it was organic and had a lot of positive feedback. We're not sure if there's something wrong with this one (this is the first time we've tried it), but it has an awful flavor that tastes more like coffee than chocolate. The expiration date, on the other hand, was excellent - It's been over a year and a half since I bought it, so there's no problem there. We'll have to toss this one and won't be buying any more.

This chocolate-flavored syrup has no chocolate flavor to it! Every day, our family consumes a large amount of ice cream

We normally purchase Hershey's Simply Chocolate Syrup, but it is not always available in our area. Because it was organic, I decided to add Santa Cruz Organic Chocolate Syrup to our Amazon order when the big box store ran out. br>br>In my head, an organic chocolate syrup sounded like a fantastic idea. I expected it to be made with organic ingredients, have fewer ingredients than major brands, and taste as good as or better than major brands. Oh, boy, did I make a blunder! br>br>There is no chocolate flavor to this chocolate syrup. There was a strong cocoa butter flavor to it, which was oily and unpleasant. The flavor had nothing to do with chocolate. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, so I gave it to my boyfriend to try (he'll try anything), and he said it didn't taste like chocolate. br>br>In its original bottle, this chocolate syrup should be microwaveable. This is not something I would recommend. Despite following the heating instructions and microwaving the bottle for 30 seconds, the bottom of the bottle began to melt onto the turntable in our microwave. br>br>In addition to the melting bottle, the chocolate syrup separated in the microwave, resulting in an odd texture that was watery in some places and gritty in others. We were unable to use the chocolate syrup while it was still hot as a result of this. br>br>Another question we had was whether it was safe to put the chocolate syrup back in the fridge after it had separated in the microwave; I'm not sure warming a product in its original container and then putting it back in the fridge is a good or even safe idea when it comes to liquids. br>br>After the chocolate syrup separated, we threw it out because that is one of the classic signs that chocolate syrup has gone bad. We'll never know whether the chocolate syrup was actually bad at the time. I'm sure it didn't taste like chocolate syrup, and I'm sure it didn't taste like it. This is a brand that we will no longer purchase.

This isn't going to work out
3/5

What happened here is still a mystery to me. I was ecstatic to discover mint chocolate syrup, especially at such a reasonable price. a very good price (less than four dollars - Until June 2020 - especially when it comes to organic ingredients I also placed an order for a bottle to be shipped to my sister as a gift because we both enjoy chocolate mint flavors. The syrup in my bottle didn't have much flavor on its own or when mixed with good vanilla ice cream. Odd. There was no longer any mint flavor after two days. I kept it for another day before feeling compelled to discard it in order to get on with my life. My sister inquired about the chocolate mint syrup a few weeks later, so I told her about my experience. She claimed to have tried it and described the flavor as prune-like. There are no chocolate undertones or a hint of mint. Prunes are all there is. She put some in a ramekin and added some Watkins peppermint flavoring, which made the sauce acceptable to her- I'm not sure what went wrong here, but I had to remove the sauce from my monthly Subscribe and Save delivery plans.

Topping that is delicious and rich in flavor
5/5

I did an ice cream taste test with Hershey's, Ghirardelli's, and this, Santa Cruz, and found it to be superior to all other chocolate sauces and syrups. This was superior to the competition! LOVE IT!.

Although I am a big fan of organic, this product isn't up to par
3/5

Writing a positive review is never easy. This product must be microwaved before it can be poured because it is either too hot and watery or too thick. It's difficult to get it just right, and in terms of taste, I found it to be chemically.

Organic Chocolate Syrup from Santa Cruz
5/5

Santa Cruz chocolate syrup was once available at my neighborhood supermarket, but it is no longer available. I was overjoyed to discover it on Amazon for a similar price; it's the only chocolate syrup I'll ever buy! It's a win-win situation because of the flavor, consistency, and the fact that it's organic and non-GMO. win.

Apart from the fact that it's organic and delicious, the thickness of this liquid chocolate straight from the fridge appeals to me. From Belgian waffle sandwiches to cocoa, this liquid delight is a favorite of Amazon Sub and Savebr>br>Warm milk and a tablespoon can create a heavenly effectbr>br>.

This Chocolate Syrup is a Personal Favorite of Ours! My family adores chocolate in any form, and chocolate milk is a must-have
5/5

I try to buy organic whenever possible, and I first discovered this 4-ingredient chocolate milk at Whole Foods. Whole Foods, 5 years ago. We can't find it there any longer, but it's available on Amazon and a few other sites. Give it a shot because it's delicious!.
