**An earlier version of this review was published in January 2018, and it read as follows: These bars are, without a doubt, my favorite snack. Since I first discovered them four years ago, I've eaten one every day. There are a lot of bars in that picture. Now I'm able to subscribe to them. save. br>br>I admit they're pricey for the meager five bars that come in each box. These are a very dense flourless brownie with mini chocolate chips inside, not like a crumbly cake bar or a chewy brownie bar, and they may be an acquired taste. br>br>I find that they satisfy my sweet tooth while also keeping me satisfied, similar to one of those fancy protein bars. Above all, unlike most granola bars, these do not upset my stomach. br>br>These bars are also a hit with my children, ages 7 and 3. It's nice to give them a granola bar they enjoy that isn't loaded with unhealthy ingredients. br>br>Because these are so costly, I've experimented with a variety of brownie bars. There is no comparison with other brands. Aldi, on the other hand, sells a "live G free" generic version of the Enjoy Life brand. They make a Cocoa Loco that is nearly identical to the original. So, if you live near an Aldi, my recommendation is to go there. br>br>**MAY 2018 UPDATE: As of 2018, these bars have been updated by Enjoy Life. As shown in the product photos, the new ones come in blue boxes. br>br>Overall, I believe that the new bars will be preferred by the public. They do, however, have a distinct flavor that is distinct from the old bars. It took some time for me to adjust to the new flavor, but I believe I now enjoy it. br>br>The most significant change is that the oversized box has been removed. However, while the new blue box is attractive, the white-on-white text is difficult to read. The text is in blue. br>br>Only minor changes have been made to the ingredient list. The nutrition information is nearly identical, with the exception that extra vitamins and minerals are no longer included. The most significant change is that, while the bars remain at 1, the number of bars has increased. They're a lot bigger at 15 ounces. They've grown in size as they've become lighter and fluffier.

My wife was put on an elimination diet to see if she could reduce the mystery pain she was experiencing. Well, about 90 of what she was allowed to eat was eliminated by the diet, which included dairy, soy, gluten, tomatoes, and a list as long as my arm of other I resolved to do everything I could to assist her, so I went to Amazon to look for something that would work. I ordered these after they appeared on the screen and looked vaguely familiar. First and foremost, I performed admirably. She couldn't stop smiling! She'd eaten these while nursing our daughter, who had a slew of food allergies and was on an elimination diet of her own. Second, I tried one and became addicted to it as well. These are incredibly delectable. I try to avoid dairy, but I love chocolate, and finding good chocolate that isn't made with real cow's milk is difficult, so I can happily eat these. br>br>At the end of the day, it appears that the diet was ineffective. She finally received a diagnosis for the mysterious pain that no amount of food could alleviate. The good news, I suppose, is that she can now eat whatever she wants. They're still on her wish list!.

They may have recently begun to include quinoa in the recipe, which he cannot consume, or they are cross-contaminating with another product during the manufacturing process. br>I like Enjoy Life products in general, but allergy sufferers should exercise caution. Before purchasing this many, you might want to purchase a single bar.

This EXTREMELY LONG- Long-time customer (I've been eating more than one of these cocoa loco bars every day for the past two years) has recently been dissatisfied with inconsistent quality control (crumbly and some bars don't hold up well depending on the batch received) and even less so with the new formula with 13g of sugar vs. 9g per bar. I prefer to cut back on sugar in my diet rather than adding it on purpose (the bars were already sweet enough). I'm not sure how long I'll be able to eat them before I have to start looking for allergen-free alternatives. Alternatives and substitutions are available for free.

These bars are driving me insane right now. I agree that the bars are ridiculously small for the 120 calories they contain, but the taste is so good that I'm willing to overlook that. Nothing compares to the bliss I get from enjoying one of these bars after a long day of caring for a newborn and my three other children and subsisting on chips and salsa, spinach, and meat and potatoes or rice. Another reviewer said that once she was able to eat milk chocolate again, she almost gagged when she tried one of these. That may be true, but if you're on a restricted diet, you won't be able to tell the difference, and these foods could be the difference between life and death. br>br>I also tried the crunchy chocolate cookies and found them to be unappealing. They were far too sweet for me, and they gave me stomach pains.

br>br>I've been ordering Enjoy Life products for about a year and have never had an allergic reaction to anything! These Chewy Bars are probably my favorite of their products, but I haven't had the opportunity to try the rest of Enjoy Life's line of products yet. However, their crispy chocolate chip cookies are also delicious. The chewy bars are very similar to mainstream products that I used to be able to consume, but perhaps even better. The bars' chocolate is delicious! br>br>At one point, the prices did get out of hand, but they're now priced fairly again, especially with subscribe and save, which I just used to place my 24th order! Fantastic manufacturer! br>br> br>br>Product with a 5-star rating - A big thumbs up!.
