Sunflower oil has been added to the ingredients list.
I only got ONE- 16 oz. bag. "Includes 12 - Includes 12 - Includes 12 - Includes 12 - Includes 12 - Includes 12" was 16 oz. Bag," but the rest of the page only had one bag, so I assumed it was a typo. By the way, if you're looking for some great pretzels, look no the- way!
On the manufacturer's website, you can order the unsalted splits.

I'm glad I looked into it and discovered these. It is correct- They are the best pretzels available. Crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of salty. It's so satisfying. I'm going to order them on a regular basis. br>br>The Original is without a doubt the best option. The Shells are too light, the Extra Salt ones are too salty, and the "Extra Dark" ones are simply burnt (apparently some people like that?). If you're dead set on being healthy, the Sprouted Grain are fine, but you lose a lot of flavor in the process. Overall, these aren't a bad snack; they're just addictive, so I recommend sticking with the Original.
I was expecting more based on the description, but these are simply pretzels that taste like pretzels. They say they're split, and while you can barely see the split line on some of them, I'd describe them as crisp and rough in texture when compared to smooth pretzels. That is, I suppose, the point of the split, but I don't think it's particularly noteworthy. They are quite large in comparison to most pretzels, so that may appeal to some people; however, I don't see why anyone would choose these over a regular pretzel. Everyone is free to do as they please.
I haven't been able to find Unique pretzels locally, so I'm ordering them from Amazon. Pretzels are only good for me because of the salt; otherwise, I'd rather chew on a tree branch. The issue is this: Isn't there some kind of middle ground here? The regular splits I just received have very little salt, so I order extra salt. I don't think the first bag of regular splits had enough salt, because I wouldn't have ordered any more. Have you tried other types of Unique's and found them to be consistent with the salt?.
Years ago, at the Reading Station in Pennsylvania, I purchased the Unique Splits for the first time. I was recently in Pennsylvania and stopped at a station; however, the pretzels were no longer available. I went to Amazon to look for them and found them. I was ecstatic, and I bought it right away. Well, that was a letdown. The pretzels were mostly smooth and shiny, rather than being split. They used to be very split and dull, with a lot of crunch. It didn't have the same flavor anymore. They have the same flavor as any other supermarket pretzel. The pictures are deceiving. At least in the first bag I opened, they show how pretzels used to be, not how they are now.
I'm not sure why I bought these on Amazon in the first place, but I like them because they're super hard and crispy, and the open split top appeals to me. My last two bags, on the other hand, were a bit of a letdown, lacking the hard crispiness of the first two. I never really want to buy six bags at a time to try their mustard-flavored ones or the other varieties besides the original. And, of course, I'm hoping that the qualities that initially drew me to these pretzels will be retained in my future purchases. I'm not going to reorder the 1 pound bag size because that's the only thing that's changed since I bought these pretzels the first time. I suppose I'll have to wait. and-see, and I'll let you know when I make my next purchase.
I'm aware that the manufacturer upgraded their ovens and was having trouble baking them in the same manner as the older ovens. Prior to addressing the issue, these had to be created. I really enjoy these pretzels, but I'll have to wait a few months before ordering any more!! I really liked the old pretzels, so it's a shame. I'm not sure why companies change when they're doing something great! NEW COKE, TO BE EXACT!.
When I lived in Pennsylvania, I only bought Unique pretzels. Pretzels were a staple snack at my childhood home, as I grew up in pretzel country. Many pretzel factories closed down over time, and the pretzels that remained on the market were controlled by large corporations. These were the so-called experts. So, pretzels that are acceptable but not exceptional. Then I discovered Unique, and I've never looked back. Now that I live in Oregon, I order these pretzels by the case and have them delivered to my house. It will be well worth your time and effort. There is no pretzel on the market that compares to this one.
which, in my opinion, is not a good thing - These regular pretzels are hands down the best; my store sells a smaller bag and has been out of stock several times recently, and this was a larger bag at a great price; they have great flavor, a good amount of salt, and an amazing crunchy texture. Other types of pretzels are no longer an option for me - I simply wait if unique splits aren't available. That's how good they are!.
