It's just too bad I thought there would be more of it! Before moving to New York, I had the opportunity to buy this bread for $2 in Washington DC. The type of bread is unknown in our town of Chicago, Illinois, where everyone has never seen one before. As far as I understand, you were offering it in bulk, so they wanted 25 dollars for it. There were three bags in the picture, but I didn't know what that The whole thing should have been called 3 loaves of bread so there would be no Eight dollars just got paid to me. The price of something I used to pay $2 has gone up to $33. To get 60, you need to spend $500. You got a 300% mark up there.
My first hesitation was to buy bread online from sources other than grocery stores, but I received the loaves within 4 days and they are still fresh in my refrigerator today. I put two loaves in the freezer and am enjoying the third. Having groceries delivered by Whole Foods leaves me with no favorite brand of bread so I feel relieved to be able to buy it again without going to a different local grocery store that carries it, which is very dirty, has minimal PPE, and requires social standing to purchase. The price knocks a star off, but I'm still satisfied with the product overall. We definitely plan to order more.
It was for my husband who has missed this bread since we moved from the East Coast to the West. We've been able to find potato bread from other brands in California, but it doesn't taste quite like the bread Though it was a bit costly for grocery store bread, he said he was glad he bought it. It's honestly one of my favorite things. Without a doubt, the best potato bread I have ever had. Although the price is a little high, the product is still worth the price.
The reason I'm laughing is because of this. Though the bread is great, sending it by mail turned out not to be such a great idea. There were many smashed pieces. LOL It was still good to eat, but it was SUPER ugly Taking a chance was the right move. LOL! I lost it. I definitely want to pick it.
