It is not something I would suggest.
I haven't had a good burger in a very long time. Keto is fantastic and has completely transformed my life; I've lost nearly 50 pounds and remain committed to the diet. However, bread is scarce, and while I've found some excellent options, the hamburger buns aren't up to par. before I came across these. They're lovely and soft. I toast them in butter or mct oil before stuffing them with everything I need to make the best burgers ever. I'm eating my burger with some really good protein chips, and it's like I'm on my own picnic. Now if only they'd make hot dog buns!! Suggestions are welcome. These are delicious and completely fill a gap in my diet that I had been missing for a long time, but now I can enjoy a burger at any time instead of just the meat and vegetables on the side at cookouts, and I'm so glad I found them.
It took about a week for them to arrive, but they were not moldy or anything like what others had complained about. I didn't want to risk them going bad, so as soon as they arrived, I put them in the freezer. I've tried every keto/low carb bread and spent a fortune making each version of the ostensibly "best keto bread ever," only to be let down. I had my doubts about these, but they turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They're incredible! If you're looking for a good hamburger or sandwich bun, these are the ones to go with. It's a little pricey, but it's still cheaper than buying all of the ingredients to make mediocre keto breads at home.
I made my own keto buns, but they didn't hold hamburgers as well as I'd hoped and were becoming soggy. Then I came across these. br> Great flavor, regular burger bun size, but without the carbs My second order arrived on time, just like the first, ahead of schedule. br>A comparison of size and color to a regular bun is shown in the attached image. On the left, Keto is the darker one. br>I also had a go at making sola bread. Yummy with either turkey or pork. Sandwiches with swiss or grilled cheese.
These are fantastic! This is without a doubt the best low-carb bun I've ever had! After I got halfway through the pack and it was frozen, they had mold on them. Excellent customer service and response from the seller.
They took a little longer to arrive than I had anticipated, but everything appeared to be in order. A few of them were used. And I was in a good mood. br>br>It had a texture that reminded me of various egg buns, with a hint of crescent flake texture, rather than a traditional "bun" texture. This is what I prefer, so there aren't any issues. The flavor. . . was almost non-existent. That confused me, and I'm not sure I'd want to eat these by themselves. On a burger, however. This does not bother me because there should be plenty of flavor. br>br>Now for the second surprise. I return to the package after about five days. The buns appear to have collapsed a little, but they smell and act fine; indeed, when I tried them, they were fine; I've had fresh bread not hold up well over time. br>br>Third surprise. . three weeks after the scheduled delivery date The buns have definitely sunk a little. They are, however, still very tasty. But, in the absence of burgers, I opted for a 5 Guys-style grilled cheese. This is fantastic! I had no idea what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. I've tried dozens of similar products and none of them come close to the quality of this one. Now, if only their bread products could be found in local grocery stores at reasonable prices.
The bread is great, though the slices are small, about the size of melba toast, and it seems like $9 for a loaf is a bit pricey given how small they are; however, the photos on here make it look like a regular loaf of bread, which it is not; however, it has the best flavor so far. I'm sure that as the keto craze grows, more companies will begin to produce it, and the price will hopefully decrease, but for now, this is it.
As an insulin-dependent diabetic, I've tried a variety of low-carb bread brands with varying results, the majority of which were gummy or cardboard in texture. This bread is as good as it claims to be, which is refreshing. Yes, the slices aren't as large as regular bread (which is a good thing for me), but the flavor is incredible. They have excellent "regular" bread, which makes a great sandwich or egg and toast, as well as excellent hamburger rolls. I'm overjoyed that I can now eat a tuna sandwich or even a burger without worrying about my blood sugar levels.
