To begin with, the photo depicts four boxes; however, you will only receive one, and you believe there are no carbs. On the front of the box, it says 0 carbs from sugar and starches, but the back says 12 g. carbs per pound This should not be hidden, but should be clearly stated. What an elaborate ruse. I sincerely hope that this is read.
Regrettably, the buns were extremely dry and had a papery flavor.
Nice Job!.
The second time I ordered, some of the product arrived with mold on it. YUK. I'm returning it, which is a pain because I have to drive 30 miles to do so. Smart Buns, I'm sorry, but you're a colossal flop.
These taste a lot like bread-- However, it tastes more like stale or dry bread. I'm not particularly old, but these products have repeatedly stuck in my throat, and I believe it's due to something other than the dryness and texture of the product. When I say "stick in my throat," I'm referring to the fact that I choked on several occasions. This is something I would be concerned about, especially if the person was older.
When I was on the keto diet, these were a welcome addition. I didn't have to worry about being kicked out of ketosis because I ate a burger with my family.
Grainy, with a cornbread-like texture but a high moisture content.
The tops of my buns had been dismembered when they arrived. I've tried a variety of carb-free foods and have had a difficult time finding any that are satisfactory. I'm not trying to scare you. Perhaps this will appeal to someone else. However, I found it to be dry and strange.
