They'd also been split ahead of time: Do not purchase these if you want classic Kaiser rolls with a bit of a crust. They're essentially soft, squishy burger buns. They only have a'meh' flavor. Worse, in my opinion, is that they are presplit, which has a negative impact on freshness. This was a huge disappointment. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
These Kaiser rolls from Maier's are ideal for hamburgers and lunchmeat sandwiches. They're far superior to most "hamburger" rolls in terms of flavor. The word "Italian" on the package, however, should be ignored. These rolls aren't even close to being Italian. For many decades, my grandfather worked as an Italian baker in his own bakery. This is not the type of Italian bread I'm used to. Italian rolls are not soft and squishy on the outside. They do, however, arrive from Amazon very fresh, and as I previously stated, they go great with hamburgers.
It's a waste of money because these are just hamburger buns, which I can get for a fraction of the price at my local market.
When you expect a nice crusty roll with plenty of "chew," these are a disaster. It's a wad of soft, dry, chemical-scented dough that's essentially a slightly larger hamburger bun, and not a particularly good one at that. with the exception of Kaiser Roll These aren't Kaiser rolls in the traditional sense. Kaiser rolls are a crusty bread roll with five distinct segments arranged symmetrically on top. A Kaiser roll is a simple roll with sesame or poppy seeds on top. br>These are just ordinary hamburger rolls, soft and unremarkable. I would not recommend this product.
These are fantastic hamburger and sandwich rolls. While not exactly what I expect from Kaiser rolls, they are soft, toast well, and are sturdy enough to hold a variety of sandwich fillings without becoming soggy. The cost appears to be fair. a strong re-commendation Purchase an order.
I wasn't expecting the rolls I got. I got hamburger buns, despite the misleading name. I was let down.
Sandwiches are also delicious.
