The package contains only six of them. The West Coast does not offer these, so when we find them, we are treated to something special. The price is steep for us when we can get them.
For both packages, there will be 6 corn toasts in each package, so there will be 12 corn toasts in total You can't go wrong with cake!
There are still a few on the market. We just don't distribute them as much as we used to. All the packs were fresh when I received them.
There are six corn muffins in each package. Around three inches in diameter, they are round. In diameter, it is about 5" and it is about half an inch Can be easily inserted into a toaster. Now that I moved south, I can only get them online. They're $3. I used to buy them every once in a while up north. In New York, there was a PKG of 5 in 1989. It costs almost $18 for two packages on line. Major ripoff. From now on, I will do without them until my friends and family can put an end to them.
We do not see the same corn muffins we remember from the past. Thomas' sold the company to Grupo Bimbo from Mexico and they changed the recipe. The corn muffins are smaller, sweeter and darker in color, harder to remove from the toaster as they fall apart quickly. As soon as you get them out and butter them, they are nothing to get excited about. There's a big difference in the size of the English Muffins as well. To summarize, my advice would be to either save your money or purchase the smallest quantity available until you figure out Thank you, but no thanks to.
eat these every day to get rid of them before they expire. Side note, the cakes are a lot smaller than the ones I used to get. They are now about the size of an English muffin maybe a little smaller (used to be the size of a bagel) and fit in a conventional toaster. Therefore, it is not worth the price.
I prefer to toast with Kerrygold butter and then add copious amounts of butter (only). Bimbo should really promote its older products with retro ads to make them more affordable, that'd be great. The rest of the time, I am glad I tried On the Wayback Flavor Things Past tour, I have successfully completed the #5.
It is a bad product right As a kid, I used to eat corn cakes all the time, and they always taste fresh. The present moment. I am horrified! Having forgotten they existed for decades, I am glad I found them now! I was eager to get them and I finally received them. I noticed the slimy look of the eggs as I opened the package. According to the tags on each package, "best before 7/24" is today, not 7/24. As I tasted one, it was like eating cardboard. It is hard to believe how long it has been since these products were manufactured and sat in the I also noted that the manufacturer's price is $4 for this item. It comes in 6 packs for a total of 26 each. A total of $22 was charged for two packages. Since this did not qualify for Prime shipping, I had to pay for it. There seems to be a mistake in pricing. It should have been $9 for both packages, However, I would not recommend this product and the merchant appears to be taking advantage of their customers and acting in a fraudulent manner.
At $19 for the two packs, I ordered them. My memory of the quality is nothing like what it was in 1995. As of now, they are made by Bimbo Bakeries, and the taste is strange. There was so much disappointment in my life. Considering that this product is sold in NY for the same price as English muffins, it is a complete rip-off.
I remember when I was a young boy growing up in Brooklyn and as a teen, my mother (God Rest Her Soul) used to give me these hot delicious treats for breakfast before I left for My favorite is Entenmann's crumb cake that I miss as well. Having lived in California for ten years, I can say both the people and food are totally different. It's like I'm Although I was very pleased to find this product, it seems quite expensive. I'm not sure I can afford to continue paying $25 for 2 boxes. It was a pleasure receiving them and they were the original, delicious and shipped very fast depending on your location priority shipping definitely well worth the treat from time to time.
I would toast them while drinking a cup of tea or coffee, eat them for breakfast or as a snack with a cup of coffee or tea. There are Thomas products sold here in Florida, but not this particular item, so I have to order it from the internet. It is pricey, but the extra cost involved with shipping them is worth it in the end. There are also blueberry ones that are The moment they reach my house, I put them in the freezer.
