I think these will be a big hit with my grandson, who is two. They are one of his favorite foods and he usually requests them by name. Those are the kinds of bread we eat plain or make sandwiches with them.

It is normal for English muffins to come incompletely sliced. Their rough surfaces are to make them fall apart easily. The case is not the same Even though it is only a minor annoyance, given how frustrated I already was at their small size and lack of chewiness, I was annoyed even more by having to go find a sharp knife every single time I wanted one.
