Questions & Answers
Each package contains six bagel thins (roughly half the thickness of a regular bagel). They're fantastic.
These are brand new from the manufacturer, and I don't think they're double wrapped.

Because I've been gluten-free for nearly 30 years, I purchased these bagels. When I saw they were pumpernickel, it reminded me of my childhood Sunday mornings when my father would go out and buy a dozen fresh mixed bagels. First, the good news: these bagels have a wonderful texture. I also like how they're thinner than regular bagels, which allows them to toast up crisply. I didn't get to try the pumpernickel that I used to enjoy. A sweeter bagel than usual caught my attention. Pumpernickel bagels are sweeter than regular bagels, but they also have a caraway flavor that I don't detect in these bagels. I understand that not using rye flour alters the flavor, but I believe there are ways to get closer to the original flavor than these bagels.
) and the price is ridiculously high for such a small product. They've essentially sliced a regular bagel into four horizontal slices, as one other reviewer put it. However, the quality and taste are average, and they are outrageously priced (currently $35 for three packages, or nearly $12 per pack). The bagels don't have anything in them that makes them worth $12 per package.
I bought the smaller size in the hopes that they would be better for sandwiches, which they would be if I liked them. I was expecting a chewy interior, but the ones I got had a grainy texture to them. Unfortunately, everything ended up in the trash. A pricey taste test, to be sure, but that's the problem with buying unfamiliar food product brands online.
I learned about these and decided to buy them because they are gluten-free and I suffer from Celiac disease. I'm also watching my weight, so I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were for such a low calorie count. Pumpernickel is one of the many flavors available. I strongly advise you to do so.
Gluten-free dough is available at O'Dough. Bagels are delicious when they're given away for free - and a reasonable size; most bagels are far too large. These are delicious, filling, and just the right amount of richness. You must take care not to overcook them. However, they are my favorites. I'm so happy I discovered them!.
Delicious. . . Texture is great, flavor is great, and I like the fiber in it. . . Gluten-free My preferred mode of transportation is unrestricted freedom.
To put it another way, they made two bagels from a single bagel.
These gluten-free bagel thins are fantastic! Pumpernickel is the only place I can get it!.
