Questions & Answers

Does this whole wheat have 100% whole grain content?

Among the ingredients, this recipe lists organic wheat flour as its very first component. The word "whole" has to be in front of "wheat flour" to indicate that it is whole, otherwise, it is refined. The whole wheat portion of these is therefore not 100%.

Do vegans have a problem with this?

There are no animal products in this bagel, according to its website. The item is out of stock at Amazon at the moment.

An average serving of sugar has how many grams? Your kind words are much appreciated! ?

took a look at mine. It is one bagel per serving. Approximately 4 grams of sugar are in the package. There is also a description below that, which reads, "Includes 4g of added sugars." It was 8%."

Can you tell me what spices these have?

Rather than being entitled/dramatic, let's keep it simple
4/5

They do a good job for what they do. I have a few questions, so I will add some clarification (or more conflict?) on this. Any child who would buy these and then throw them out after one bite is not very bright or creative, since anyone even remotely intelligent would not expect something geared toward health and wellness and alternative nutrition to taste like something from a Jewish bakery or Places where you can make your mark, There are a lot of places in those areas you can go if that's what you desire. It's not always possible to buy an exact replica on the internet, particularly one with a long shelf life. Having said that, let's move on. immediately knew by the name of the website and the excessive verbiage and check marks of specs that they were promoting health as opposed to classic carby bagel nostalgia as well as promoting their own mother and father brands. This analysis is what I consider common sense and helped me put aside strange extremely high expectations of an Amazon bagel.

My only question was, will it be delicious? There is no doubt in my mind. So long as you don't act like a jerk and look in the wrong place for the wrong thing. How close is this to the taste of a fresh New York bagel or a semi-fresh Panera bagel? It is a no-brainer and probably won't happen. In spite of that, I do understand that some people prefer this bagel for other When it comes to chewing, it goes down a lot easier. There are a significant number of people in America who are exposed to every day a wide variety of Thomas products, and I have to admit that I am not very impressed by them. The reason as to why I would most likely get these again over the cheaper ones is that they do not have the waxy chew. Delicate, as opposed to rough. You also won't get the wet dough formation in your mouth like you might with a bagel. This causes your cheeks and teeth to become stickier. Besides the slight wheat taste, this is also a bagel that tastes good It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. The same goes for products that promise to be made from wheat/whole grains, etc. It makes no sense to expect that it would not be. This is odd. That said, it is not overwhelming at all, and this is coming from someone who never purchases wheat bread other than bakery speciality loaves from Whole Foods for that reason. The fact that it wasn't heavy or stuck to your teeth or sink into your stomach was very appealing to me. good, but we've found that there's a stronger 'everything' essence on most bags (in regards to the bits of caramelized onion and garlic most likely to feature). Due to that, you will not receive that rancid smell and taste associated with a bagel that was definitely made sometime around this century, which is something I really appreciate. The seasonings are rawer, however, which says to me most of the flavors would benefit from being I toasted it because of the reasons listed above. Untoasted, I can imagine this bagel being softer than usual and having a more raw dough flavor (what bagel from a regular grocery store Whenever I can help it, I do not eat them like that). During the 8 minutes I toasted mine, the oven was set at 350 degrees. As for me, I enjoyed it perfectly. I believe everything has its place and time. if I want a world-class bagel, then I will go to a world-class bagel store. I like the bagel as a quick and easy pick-me-up from home it is tasty, it is made by people I perceive to be good, and it has organic, healthful ingredients. . . . which, by the way, is all they have claimed to be so far.

There is no such thing as a bagel here

He knows his bagels like the back of his hand. I was horrified to see these. It's time to get rid of them. They aren't worth buying, so people should know that.

I am not talking about bagels here
3/5

I like these round breads with holes for cream cheese because they don't taste bad and are good for delivering cream cheese. The bagels on the other hand aren't like bagels. A whole grain bread ring is a small, extremely dense ring of flour. As I continue my quest for a real bagel, I will go to Seattle.

My email address has been used for asking a question since I recently purchased this. There were a lot of questions that led down the rabbit hole. I am attaching a picture of the nutritional info, as requested by someone. There were only two of us so we twisted the bag up and we were down to our last bagel. I am providing a review based on my family's love of A number of different Dave's Killer Breads/bagel types are eaten in our household.

Do not pay attention to the one star
5/5

Dismiss the review that was one star and stated that they were "a New Yorker". They are totally wrong right off the bat. If you're looking for an amazing bagel with the true New York taste, look no farther.

The taste is great & they work well for delivering cream cheese
4/5

There is, however. These are excellent cream cheese delivery vehicles, and they taste great like all Dave's Killer products. They are not real bagels like you get in NY, however (spoiler alert) they are delicious. The bread is much softer and does not have a hard crust. They are simply round loaves with a hole in the center. In addition, unless the delivery person got hungry and ate one on the way, this package only has 5 bagels instead of the typical 6, which makes them a bit more expensive.

Hint for Dave - pack a few more bagels. The secret to getting a solid, firm bagel is to soak the shaped dough in water before baking it.

It was fresh and delicious when it arrived
5/5

This is a must read. It was awesome to receive two bags of Dave's Killer Bread Epic Organic Bagels on time and in perfect condition. In my region, these are almost as rare as hen's teeth. Even when put on sale at various supermarkets in town, they are snapped up fast. I am a native New Yorker, and I place great importance on the quality of the bagel I purchase. The bagels here can hold their own against anything Bagel Nosh used to offer in the past! It is nice also that the price is cheaper than at a retail location. Providing these at your one-stop shop website for everything you can imagine is a huge plus for Amazon!.

I love it
5/5

Its price is well worth its quality because it is made from wholesome ingredients. After my husband made one of these bagels this morning, he talked about them all day long. I love everything organic, but my hubs is a picky dude who make fun of me for it.
