It's possible that the item has passed its expiration date. In October of 2017, I bought this as a subscribe and save item. The first order was due to expire in January 2018. 4 months seemed doable, but I felt it was a little too close. I neglected to check the second box, which arrived on December 19th, 2017, with an expiration date of January 2018. To me, it isn't a big deal, but vendors take note! The box had also been opened and resealed from the manufacturer's original seal. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing these products in the future. It is not due to the product's poor quality. The product is excellent, as it always is, but the seller does not keep stock rotating.
Definitely not what I was expecting from an Amazon food item. As if they were remnants, items were thrown into a beat-up, haphazardly taped-up box. The expiration dates on the majority of the packages are approaching. This purchase has made me think twice about purchasing anything edible on Amazon. I don't feel comfortable giving these to my young nieces as snacks, which is why I bought them in the first place.
There have been numerous reports that these are hit or miss. This is my first order, and all of the cookies are fresh, soft (except the mini cookies, which aren't supposed to be), and I received exactly the quantities stated. br>br>Addressing some of the negative feedback. br>br>They have the same flavor to me as Grandma's. They have a lovely flavor. Each cookie contains 10 grams of sugar. For a woman, we should aim for no more than 25g pet per day so yeah, one cookie is 40% of what you should have in a day for reference. Everyone, on the other hand, has a personal preference. Having worked for a grocery distributor, I can tell you that the seller has no control over what's inside the package, and you're always going to miss a box or two in rotation, so there will be some freshness issues from time to time. My box came straight from the plant. It had a distinct mark. However, don't pass judgment based on a few bad experiences, and keep in mind that a negative review is more likely to be posted than a positive one. Wouldn't it be great if the flavors were more evenly distributed? Yes. I'd prefer 5 of each, but the description clearly states how many of each will be sent. br>br>I say go ahead and do it. Good product at a reasonable price.
There isn't much variety. Only a few jars of peanut butter and oat raisin cereal. The majority of the creams are chocolate brownie, chocolate chip, or sandwich. The cookies are all set to expire in September. They only have a month before they expire or are guaranteed to be fresh. There wasn't a lot of time. I get the impression that they're dumping their soon-to-expire inventory on Amazon customers who aren't paying attention. That is completely incorrect! In terms of flavor, I can tell the cookies are nearing their expiration date; they're not as fresh as they should be. So, what are we supposed to do when people deceive us like this? Write an appropriate review in the hopes that they will see it and realize they are doing something wrong and correct it! I'm requesting a refund from Amazon.
EXTREMELY HARMFUL TO THE HEART. A BOX FULL OF HARD, STALE, NON-EDIBLE COOKIES WAS SENT TO ME. THESE WERE ONE OF THE THINGS I WAS EXPECTING TO RECEIVE. IN A LONG TIME, I HAVE NOT PURCHASED THESE COOKIES. I RECEIVED THEM TODAY AND OPENED IT UP TO BITE INTO A VERY HARD STALE YUCKY COOKIE. I OPENED A NEW ONE AND IT WAS THE SAME AS THE FIRST. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT OF MY ABILITY. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE PERMITTED. OLD FOOD IS FOR SALE.
Normally, I adore these cookies, but these ones had a distinctly stale and funky flavor when compared to store-bought versions. No one would eat them, so I had to throw out the entire case. My money has been wasted.
As a result, I received two items that I had previously purchased: Unfortunately, both are AWFUL. What's the first order of business? Excellent, well-organized, and exactly what was expected. Bags were neither protected nor organized because they were missing two flavors. The box was damp inside another box, similar to the one that had been purchased previously. I'm not sure what's going on, but there's obvious price gouging going on, poor seller service, and a severe lack of product quality. Both food boxes are genuinely GROSS and have been crushed on purpose. Internal and external failures Someone at the warehouse despises packing these products!.
