It is about 2 tbs of powder and 2 tsb of water per cap. Food starch, sugar, and flavoring are all contained in this product.
This is what the product description says in the USA on a nut-free and Kosher facility." So as long as the facility is nut-free, then it can be considered nut-free. When something is free, it also means it is also good.
There is a strong similarity between this and Wilton's meringue powder. The brand I prefer is this one. In addition to being fluffy, the royal icing is softer. As with any royal icing, it dries in the same way. Add a tablespoon or two of corn syrup for a softer royal icing.

Is the fire ready to burn?. I recommend this product if you enjoy hours spent on detailed cookies, just to toss them all in the trash and start all over again. The report is a complete waste of time. A couple of years ago, I attended a baking convention and was really convinced to try it. I heard rave reviews from two of the cookiers I attended classes with. My memory of it is hazy, but I remembered that it appeared too pricey to me. When I went to reorder my (tried and true) CK Products merengue powder recently, I was excited to see it pop up on Amazon. The price was similarly low, so I was very eager to The mixture went together well, and my cookies did seem to have more of a shine at first, but the problem didn't become apparent until packaging. In order to package my cookies individually, after they have dried for 24 hours, I heat seal them before packaging with royal icing. I found any icing added after flooding (lines, flowers, etc. ) to have turned to powder and crumbled when I picked up a bagged cookie the next day. It was too late. The directions were followed exactly, and I managed to create a beautiful set of cookies. However, once packaged, they crumbled in my hands. Considering I wasn't convinced it was the product, I ordered a new canister to make sure it was not a bad batch.
