I was surprised to find that the three-pound containers are metal tins, and the cookies are packed by threes in cello sleeves in which they completely fill the space, so they don't jostle and there is no breaking. Paper or plastic bags were used to package the damaged shipments? Upon receiving my tins, they were packaged in an enormous box A thin plastic bag cushioned the disc so I was genuinely afraid it would cause damage, but I was pleasantly surprised. In the course of eating a few of these cookies my friend shared with me, I immediately ordered more. It has a really light flavor that I love A delicious cookie that's not too sweet. Amazon did a poor job of 'packing', which is the only complaint I have. I was very disappointed to find pieces of cookies in my cookies. If you are unable to find them, try looking in the local store. The prices of these may have dropped. SHE DOES APPROVE OF THESE COOKIES TOO, AS SHE TOPS ME OFF WITH COOKIES SO SHE CAN It was nice how they came packaged when they arrived. They were also pretty fast when they arrived too. The only thing I do not like about them is that they are quite pricey, but when I send my husband to the store to get me butter cookies, they are not as tasty as these are. Despite the low number of packages there are enough to last, so I'm very pleased with that. COOKIES THAT ARE VERY GOOD!.

I thought it would be a nice gift to give her since she lives in an assisted living facility. As it was, the box was filthy with dirty tape on each side of it and a sticker on the top. I did not give my mother a quality presentation. In this case, I will donate to a food bank since it cannot be returned.

The cookies are worth all of the money I pay for them but I cannot believe I pay this much for them. Despite the fact that they are at a level above most other cookies, it would be hard for the maker to tell that they are truly unique. The most delicious cookie we have ever eaten.
