The case could only hold less than three items. 5 weeks. This is a rating for both the product and the date/service. 5 stars. There's an expiration date, and it's a pain to deal with. 2 stars. These are just as delicious and soft as I remembered them to be. For nearly two decades, I have been unable to locate the Raspberry Filled variation anywhere even remotely local. You must keep an eye on the expiration dates of Amazon products. Only about 3 hours were left in the case. 5 weeks. Unless you plan on living off of them, they're far too short. When I asked for a replacement case, I got iced oatmeal instead. So I called and asked for a return/replacement because they were not what I had ordered and were not a favorite of mine. Because it was also available locally, the price was ridiculously low. They did, however, last a long time. They told me to keep them and sent a new case of Raspberry Filled to me. and instructed me to call if I had any further problems with the date. I got a second case with the same date as the first. I'm only good for about three weeks at this point. I gave up and accepted the result of a win/loss. I've been passing them out to anyone I know who grew up with them. Amazon has always had a problem with running out of time or coming close to running out of time, but they do try to fix it. All I ask is for it to happen less frequently.
The Iced Molasses cookies are my personal favorite. I decided to give these Molasses cookies a try after seeing them in a box of nine packs. After all, they were 25% on sale, so I figured it was worth a shot. I didn't like them as much as the Iced Molasses cookies because the molasses flavor wasn't as strong, which is something I enjoy. But the biggest letdown was that I got them on August 14, 2020, and the expiration date was August 29, 2020. That's 15 days to eat through 9 boxes of cookies, which isn't going to happen. I did not return them; instead, I gave them to my grandchildren, who will eat a few before throwing the rest away. With such a short expiration date, I will not be ordering these again.
I absolutely adore these cookies, but when they arrive, they are severely damaged. These cookies do not last long, either due to warehouse handling or shipping. I've bought them in supermarkets and they're great, but they're not so great when they're shipped. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing from this store again.
When I was looking for something else, "Windmills" came up. They arrived today, and they're so good that my husband and I devoured an entire box. We were fortunate in that we were able to purchase 9 boxes in bulk. If you're a manufacturer or distributor with the foresight to sell vintage items, thank you. On Amazon, you can find old-fashioned "Almond Windmill" cookies. They're just as good now as they were in the early 1940s, when I first fell in love with them. I'm hoping that others who remember these cookies will place an order as well! Although a few were broken during shipping, they were still delicious!.
The rich chocolate flavor, the velvety texture, and the sugar sprinkling on top. Don't eat them, I'm telling you. If you try one, you'll be hooked for life. If you have a strong desire for them, consider signing up for Amazon Prime, which allows you to receive a new order in two days. To keep the remaining boxes fresh, place them in the freezer. Eat one or two while they're still frozen and wait for the rest to warm up. A WARNING HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU.
SCORE! These cookies sparked a discussion between my mother and me. We both remembered seeing them in the store, but hadn't seen them in a long time. Soft cookies are a favorite of Mom's. On Amazon, I came across her favorite Archway Soft Iced Lemon Cookies. They arrived on time, with the only 'issue' being that when she opened a box, the cookies crumbled a little but were still fresh and not stale. Thank you, Archway, for easing the pain of not being able to spend Mother's Day with my mother this year!.
They're soft and slightly chewy, not overly sweet, and don't have any frosting, icing, or glaze on them. It's difficult for me to keep my hands out of the package. So, if you're feeling daring and like molasses cookies, these might be right up your alley. Today, I'm going over these cookies to make sure they don't end up in my shopping cart by accident. again. Purchase one for yourself!.
The issue with purchasing a nine-pack is that the freshness date will only be one year. You'll be eating them every day for the next two months. br>br>The Soft Dutch Cocoa are the best; they have a flavor similar to a brownie and a great texture: Although not as dense and fudgy as a brownie, these cookies are still soft and chewy. They're durable and came in good shape. These are the only ones I could eat every day and not get tired of. br>br>The Frosty Lemon cookies were approximately 10-inches in diameter. When they arrived, there were 20% crumbs. They're tasty, but not quite as tasty as I recall. The strong lemon flavor wears off quickly and appears to be a little too synthetic. The Soft Chocolate Chip cookies had something strange and chewy in them, almost like little bits of oatmeal or something that didn't get mixed in right, but the texture was still nice, soft and almost cake-like. br>br> I had no idea what it was, but it completely ruined the texture and flavor of the dish. I'd never get them again if I could help it. br>br>Even though Soft Molasses is one of my favorites, it's still difficult to finish 9 boxes in a row. They arrived in good shape, have a wonderful soft and chewy texture, and the molasses and spices combine to make a delicious flavor. I'd buy single boxes at a time if I had to do it again.
