I don't have the box that contains the precise information. They are tasty, but high in fat and sugar, in my opinion.
Yes. Each package contains two items, and each box contains five items, resulting in a total of six boxes in the order. It's been a wonderful experience working with this company. The cakes are as well! PS When you consider the cost of each box and shipping, they aren't much more expensive than the time and gas required to go to the supermarket. It was well worth the money.
The date is March 18th.
They were stale and had a sell-by date of January 6, 2019. I couldn't split them in half because they crumbled. br>I am not going to order them again.

Boston, Massachusetts, was where I grew up. I grew up in a household where Drake's Cakes were baked, so these were a staple of my childhood and beyond; many decades later, I was heartbroken to learn that Drake's Cakes had been discontinued, as I had always preferred them to any Hostess products. I hadn't had a Drake's product in about 15 years when I accidentally discovered them online two months ago and wasn't sure what to expect. I knew what Drake's Yankee Doodles (my all-time favorite) were, but I wasn't living in New England at the time, and they were impossible to find here in the Midwest. I mean, after the Yankee Doodles came back as just a knockoff Frosted Hostess Cupcake (NO, YANKEE DOODLES WERE NEVER FROSTED! ), and Drake's Coffee Cakes SHOULD taste like, but I was underwhelmed based on reviews that's what I'd get. ) who had no idea what to expect, but I figured it was worth a shot. Either I'd find some old favorites that I'd been missing for a long time, or I'd find a way to get this yen out of my system for good. I ordered a large quantity of items and the shipping cost was only about $6. For such a large carton, the 50 was incredible. It was almost as if the manufacturer in Tennessee sent me my cakes for free because of the low shipping charge. I should also mention that all of the boxes I received had expiration dates that were four to six weeks away, so there was no need to be concerned about the freshness of the items I received. I ate a lot of the boxes without freezing them, then put the rest in the freezer for later use. The Drake's Coffee Cakes differed slightly from the originals, but they were still very close. The main difference is that the topping isn't as soft as it is on the originals, and the cake isn't as soft and fluffy either, but they were still delicious. The Yankee Doodles tasted almost identical to the originals, but they were noticeably drier. This bothered me because one of my favorite things about Yankee Doodles was how moist they were. The ones I received were not too dry to eat, but Yankee Doodles were always known for being insanely moist, and these new cakes were not that moist. Then I realized that since these new Yankee Doodles were no longer baked in cupcake papers like the old ones were, perhaps this accounted for them being less moist. Anyway, as I continued to eat through my stash, I discovered that after freezing and thawing, both the Coffee Cakes and the Yank Doodles were still delicious. The Yankee Doodles are very close to the originals in taste and texture after freezing and defrosting, while the Coffee Cakes, while moister after freezing, are slightly less so. Overall, these taste a lot like the snack cakes Drake's used to make. If you want to get the most authentic taste of old-fashioned snack cakes, freeze them first and then defrost before eating. They become more moist after being frozen and defrosted. Both the Yankee Doodles and the Coffee Cakes were delicious, and I would order them again. The extremely reasonable shipping fee, as well as the fact that the maker sent me all very fresh product that was well past its "best by" date, will ensure that I continue to order these on a regular basis.

When I received them, I was extremely disappointed because they were NOT FRESH. I never responded to the reviews when I received them, and now I realize how important they are to other customers. We had one and never had another because they were stale and it was very upsetting because we were excited to get these because they weren't available in our current location. We relocated from New York to Georgia, but it was the last time we did so.
I was charged $8 for this. Drake's coffee cake cinnamon streusel box costs $19. The suggested retail price (MSRP) for this product is $3. I can get Hostess for just over $2 at Walmart for 49 cents. 00, and they're in excellent condition, with an expiration date of at least 6 weeks. These were very dry, almost powdered, and had 9 days left on their expiration date when I received them. I used to love these when I was a kid in the Bronx, but now that I've tried them again, I'm not so fond of them.
The cakes were smaller than I remembered, and some were stale rather than fresh, but the flavor was identical to what I remembered. Since I moved, I haven't had these cakes in years; the Drakes brand isn't available here. I was disappointed that they were not identical, but I suppose everything these days is made cheaper and costs more, and customer satisfaction is a thing of the past.
The game Hostess is a better investment. Although I can't recall how much I paid for these individual coffee cakes, I do recall that Drake's was less expensive than Hostess, but I'd rather spend a few dollars more for a moist, flavorful snack. Unless Hostess is unavailable, I am unlikely to purchase again.
There is nothing new about it. Drakes coffee cakes were purchased in four boxes. On September 4th, I arrived at the airport. On September 30th, this offer will be no longer available. Mistake. At the very least, they were devoured by my flock of chickens.
