The first time I tried Lady Grey was in a mixed pack of Twinings products. There is little difference between it and Earl Grey. I prefer it as a replacement for Earl Grey. My afternoon tea is usually made with this several times every.
Since I was a child, this has been a favorite flavor of mine. This notion of "new box, same taste" doesn't seem to be true, as others have indicated. Within seconds of opening the box and trying a bag, I noticed that the flavor was weak, reminding me The problem may be because of the formula change and not the cause of the issue. I remember how flavorful this tea used to be, it had a fruity pebble scent! In the current version, there is very little scent left, it smells and tastes much more like Hope the changes will make a difference! I am very disappointed in the recent changes.
Due to the fact that it displayed the old presentation of Lady Gray tea (all blue box), I bought it from this seller. I did receive a new box (yellow/blue), though. In spite of the box saying "new look, same great taste," some reviewers on other sellers claim that the flavor did not improve. It is widely believed that the flavor of Lady Gray now resembles that of regular Earl Gray. Having just tried it and comparing it to the old version (I still have some tea bags), there has been a very significant difference, but not so much as to make it unlike A typical repair job involving a company trying to fix something that isn't broken would be this case. The information provided by this seller needs to be updated. If the website said they were actually selling the new tea, there was no way I'd buy from them.
The old Lady Grey taste has gotten me into trouble, but I haven't been drinking it for nearly as long as other reviewers have. Lady Grey is a relatively new discovery for me. I decided to stock up on loose leaf packets of Lady Grey after trying a wide variety of teas. I found that it was my favorite among these teas so I ordered a tin pack There was a lack of taste, and it wasn't what I had previously eaten. I wrote this off as a bad batch, because there was no notice or indication on the packaging that there had been a change in flavor. The bergamot oil in the tea bags did not have the yellowish/orangeish tinge they normally do. I purchased them a month later and found that they had that colour. As expected, the tea was bland and flavorless. Given the lack of attention provided by Twinnings to communication with their customers, I will likely be purchasing Earl Grey tea from another company, bergamot oil, and creating a Frankenstein potion reminiscent of old Lady Grey.
In my experience, lady grey tea is one of the best teas, but when I shopped at the grocery store, it was only offered in the variety pack. It was a wonderful surprise to find that it was in large quantities. In fact, I gave away one box to a friend who loves it too, and I'm eager to place another order now that only three bags remain. It brings me back to the tea time I had with my grandmother when I was a child. I'd like a cup of tea and a toast. Thanks.
If you like Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed milk and sugar with black tea. Since I will be cutting down my sugar intake and giving it up during Lent. Lady Grey was suggested as a possible alternative. It was a very good kettle tea, just ordered it. The two of them are amazing. In the weeks following lent, I'll follow up with my review. Here is what has been accomplished so far. There is no doubt that I am in love with you. I noticed it was hard to find it in local supermarkets, so perhaps I will order from Amazon and stock up.
The shipping went smoothly and I had no problems- I am very pleased with the time and condition of my order.
The citrusy flavor of this lime tea is a nice change from plain Lipton or Tetley when you have a cup of hot tea in the morning A nice change from brewed black tea is flavored tea from Twinings. It is quite pricey at $5 for a box of 20 bags, but I find it to be quite useful on cold mornings. As well as regular coffee, I've also been buying decaf from time to time.
