Though I should have known better than to order a large quantity of tea from a seller on Amazon, I believe that after reading the descriptions and reviews, I felt confident that what I was ordering would be a true Jin Xuan without any artificial flavorings. In my humble opinion, a genuine Jin Xuan oolong does not have a strong smell to it, and the taste of it should not be at all milky. As you can imagine, it is called a milk oolong due to its texture that feels creamy in your mouth and the flavor that is a little buttery and sweet - but I mean that When I opened up the bag from Oriarm, however, I instantly detected a strong smell of creamy peach that resembles instant oatmeal in a peaches and cream It had the very same artificial scent as another milk oolong I tried from Amazon before (I can't remember which one, Tealyra or Tea vivre). It is not what Jin Xuan tea should smell like when it is dry, rather it should barely smell like anything. If you are new to Jin Xuan tea, this isn't what it should smell like. I steeped this tea 3 times and I noticed that it was flavored with artificial flavors every time. As a conscientious tea drinker, I only give this a 2-star rating due to the artificial flavor being mild compared to other milk oolongs I've tried. The reason people like this tea is it has a much sweeter taste than an actual milk oolong would actually have. They may not understand the difference because the options for a true Jin Xuan without artificial flavoring are limited and the descriptions for the tea purchased this tea because I was hoping it would arrive before an order I placed with Yunnan Sourcing and Taiwan Sourcing (which it did), and I needed something to hold me over. I'm likely to discard it once I do get some decent teas.
Since the fermentation process produces a naturally creamy taste in Jin Xuan (milk oolong), other reviews have noted that it has a creamy taste. As for the tea leaves, they should not smell milky/creamy they should be aromatic You can get tea leaves in tea bags. It is no secret that Oriarm tea leaves are marketed as a premium product, but their natural flavor is muted by artificial ingredients. Based on my actual visit to Alishan, where these leaves are claimed to have been grown, I can say with no doubt that this is not a quality product. The leaves may have started out as something quite decent, but they were messed up along with some unhealthy.
The tea I'm drinking is nice! It has a smooth, creamy flavor and I enjoy the way it tastes. In addition to using 203 degrees water, the 5 seconds rinse and the 1 steep, I also used 5 seconds of hot water on the crust. I'd like to edit this to 15 seconds, 2 steeps A 20 second steep incline followed by 3 steep seconds I am 35 seconds into the video. As the steep time was too long on the third steep, I cut it by 5 seconds, but missed the bitterness on the first ) in batches of 3 grams (one This small portable tea set is perfect for brewing loose tea and I absolutely adore Getting about four cups of tea from one pot is excellent (I could get another 2 steepings out of it if the leaves dried out overnight). I will let the leaves dry out until I can get another 2 steepings out of one. place in refrigerator and )
I can't wait to get the other tea.
I like it a lot. One of the best milk oolong teas that I have tasted, this tea has a strong smell and great taste. It is creamy, milky, almost sweet and smooth on the palate. Rolling tea into small balls is the method of serving it. The bottom of the container has full leaves and no dust. not a tea connoisseur, but this seems to be of a high quality, and it has become one of my favorite teas. Whenever I brew at 200 for three minutes I get an excellent cup of coffee. Iced or hot, I like it both ways. If I add sugar, it seems like I only add half the amount as I would with some other products. Both were great, so I tried them both. Despite never tasting the 1st and 2nd grades side by side, I would say that the 1st grade had a The product would be bought again and I would recommend it. The freebies or incentives for my review did not come from the company.
While ordering another tea from the company, they sent me a sample of this. I love milk oolong tea. After ordering, I received a product that was of a lower grade than the sample, but at a higher price. I wrote to the seller, but did not hear back. From now on, I intend to buy this from the local coop as their product is of As a result, there is a difference When the leaves were submerged in hot water, the leaves from the higher quality unfurled completely. As a result, one-third of the weight of the product was sticks, because the product was cut leaves on stems and twigs. There is a slight taste difference, though it is.
My preferred way to steep food is in 200°F water, soaking 10g in 200ml. To begin with, I rinse for 10 seconds and then steep for 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, etc. In most cases, the balls extend into stems that bear The tea they produce is light amber in color and has a milky taste. I think it's not that bad.
Tea that you should try if you like There is no artificial milk flavor in this product. It's natural for milk to have a milky flavor. This is the tea I found after doing a lot of research to find natural milk oolong tea. As well as the sample tea, a tiny bag was sent. Leaves are securely stored in the pouch, which can be resealed.
After I presented a cup of tea to one of my guests, she was so enamored with tea that she was eager to purchase it for This product is something I will definitely purchase.
I've had better at a lower price. I wouldn't recommend. Unlike other users, I didn't detect any artificial flavor, as some others did. The taste was subtle and even more bitter than most people would expect. This is the first milk oolong tea I have tried from a variety of vendors and will not buy it (I have included a photo for reference only.
