They make great teas, and I hope they keep selling them.
Fresh leaves that appeared minimally processed tasted and appeared to be fresh Having steeped all of them for a few minutes, they opened up so beautifully. Jade oolong is my favorite tea, and I couldn't stop drinking it! There were a lot of pleasant surprises in all of this. And I am a sucker for pretty packaging-I'll be the first to admit it. Photos don't do it justice. This product is just as gorgeous in person! As gifts, I might buy several more of these. I bought this for myself and am planning to buy more as well. It was a pleasure doing business with the seller and she replied promptly to my questions. I would definitely recommend this and would buy from this seller again.
Not much to write home about. It takes one steeping to get all the flavor out. A hybrid tea from Taiwan's high mountains - Compared to other brands I import from Taiwan, San and others are much better, all with different scents and tastes. I usually steep three times and retain some flavor even after that.
Following the reviews for the Oolong Collective, I ordered the Milk Oolong and it looks fantastic. I just had my first cup, and it was bitter and off-tasting to the point that I couldn't Normally I love the buttery smell, but this is even worse.
I found it to be a good oolong with some subtle roasted notes - but it was not advertised as a milk oolong (especially at this price), so if you are looking for a milk oolong - look somewhere else. This one is a no-go. This is why I gave it three.
