There was nothing more important to me than being able to write a positive review. Because I love matcha so much in addition to buying a large pouch of it, I am especially upset that I foolishly purchased a large pouch rather than getting a smaller container, simply to save money. The ceremonial grade is what I purchased. I am just not sure how to deal with this stuff. That stuff is weird. What looks like matcha, aside from the odd clumps that seem difficult to dissolve in or out of water, is strange. Matcha that can easily rival any green tea I've ever tried has a beautiful, vibrant green color. The price was very good and I was hopeful that I had found the best stuff for a good price.

The taste was slightly off from the In the sniff test against this and my current matcha, my usual go-to matcha came out on top Green tea definitely gives this tonic a strong visual, whereas kenko, on the other hand, has a more subtle aroma. In a blind sniff, I searched for that tea smell, but I was not able to determine whether it was really tea. There is a vast difference in smell between the two.
