So, I'm a newbie when it comes to making cold brew. However, I am not a novice when it comes to coffee, so I can tell if this is a bad cup. I used the County Line Kitchen Cold Brew Mason Jar Coffee Maker with Handle, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good, simple coffee maker. Make iced coffee with a cold brewer. Normally, I would steep the coffee in the Cold Brew Maker for 20 to 30 minutes. I kept it in our garage for 24 hours because it was cold where I live. It made a delicious cup of coffee, in my opinion. I usually drink it with almond milk creamery foamed, and I can tell you that it has helped me get through extra shifts and college classes. It doesn't make you jittery, but I noticed that I was more focused and awake after taking it. It has a flavor that is difficult to describe because I haven't had anything similar, but if you're thinking about trying it, go ahead and do so; ESPECIALLY for cold brew, it is well worth the $14 price tag.
" I'm looking for a tough, coarse-textured material. For my french press (not for cold brew), I use ground coffee. When I was younger, I used to stock up on extra-large items. I purchased a dark french roast from Whole Foods so that I could grind the freshly-ground coffee beans properly. Roasted beans are available, but bulk coffee and in-house blends are also available. It's no longer possible to grind in the store. br>br>The "Extra Strong" coffee from Wandering Bear has a very light coffee flavor to me. For some people, this is likely ideal. My preference is for a flavor that is bold and distinct. At the very least, it didn't have a *bad* flavor from, say, rancid oil due to a lack of freshness. br>br>"My search is complete" would have been a five-star rating. Four stars if you said, "I can finish the bag. " Three stars for "I can finish the pot" (and come up with something new for tomorrow).
This coffee tastes fantastic. It's powerful and full-bodied. If you enjoy a strong coffee flavor without the bitterness, this is the product for you.
This iced coffee is fantastic! It has a lot of flavor and a really nice dark roast flavor to it. It's pretty amazing when you combine it with a Premier Protein Caramel flavor shake.
I love Wandering Bear cold brew, so I was eager to try this. When we opened the bag, the coarse ground beans smelled robust and delicious, and we used two coffee filters and about 4 tablespoons of grounds to make some good old hot coffee for a change. The coffee had a complex flavor profile, a pleasant aroma, and the fantastic taste I've come to expect from this brand, as well as a lot of caffeine. Thank you very much for the new item. We'll be back to buy more!.
I became enamored of Wandering Bear ice coffee and consumed copious amounts of it. Every week, we required a 96-ounce box. That is a significant amount of information. So, to help with the budget, I decided to try the ground and build my own. To make ice coffee, I purchased a 2 quart jar. They are available for purchase on Amazon. Don't waste your money on the high-priced makers. The jar is the best option, and the bag includes instructions. I mix one cup of coffee with about seven cups of water. I'm at a loss for what to do with the remaining water. After letting it sit for 48 hours, I was done. Bear with a cold brew. So we do a box every other week and make up the difference with homebrew. It really works. The Bear is a great option.
I had no idea who this person was before I bought it, and I was pleasantly surprised. Solid flavor, not too acidic (though coldbrew is less acidic), could be coarser (but I'm using a perforated metal cylinder), and could be coarser. Overall, I like this product because it improves my morning routine. Also, the delivery was prompt and the package was well-protected.
The flavor is weak at best, especially for a dark roast; I've tried it cold brewed overnight and hot brewed in a French press with the same results: weak flavored coffee. Unless you like weakly flavored coffee, the price and lack of flavor make it nearly worthless. On the flavor scale, it was just one notch above hot water, and the cheap store brand medium roast had better flavor and was 1/4 the price. Maybe I just don't have a high palate for overpriced coffee, but it was just one notch above hot water on the flavor scale.
