Would you like a cup of In short, yes. Cold brew can it be made from this? It's kind of like that. The coffee was selected based on an article elsewhere that stated it was the best coffee to use for cold brewing, in fact specially roasted and ground for this purpose. There's nothing special about the roast, and it's actually not as good for cold brewing as other regular high-quality coffees The beans you can find at your local grocery store are of high quality. It was a lot of work for a small quantity of grain. They used a blade grinder instead of a burr grinder to grind the beans, since there's a lot of dust and silt in there, showing they used a blade grinder instead of the burr grinder I use to make cold brews or French press coffee. I think this premium price is not worth it, but technically you can drink it. Getting the whole bean version and using your own grinder is the way to go if you must buy this.
The brand I'm ordering has been on my shopping list for over 5 months Each 2lb bag usually lasts between 2 and 4 weeks for me. It took me a while to adjust to ordering 1lb orders, because I chose to order it thinking I would not use it that much. Although the bags were extremely fresh for the first few months, they have started to come with some cracks in the bags (I have never really checked that closely), which means that air is getting into the bags and the more it is exposed to the air, the faster the quality degrades. This makes the degassing valve of their bags irrelevant, since the valve is designed to operate one way only, but it is of little use, if the bags are compromised by someone working at the company, or at Amazon, as that is where they are Therefore, the following is the summary Dr quality is very good, almost as good as freshly ground coffee. However, bags are not being inspected anymore, so the longer they sit, the less fresh they become. review their bag design and perhaps replace it altogether, or perhaps they need to find a new way of storing it.
My first cold brew with this coffee has just been made and I'm in love! I appreciate that it is organic and that it has a perfect roast level and grind size compared to other brands I have used for this process in the past. My favorite way to enjoy this coffee is as an iced Vietnamese cup which is smooth and delicious. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. A quick update This coffee has been reordered multiple times since my first review and I am still happy with its taste and quality. I've made it a household staple for a long time.
As far as all the cold brew coffees I have tried so far (out of 8 or so that come up most often when you search here on Amazon), I would rate this one in the middle of the pack. A good enough coffee to make me put it on repeat, but not so good to keep it always available (I typically have multiple carafes brewing at any given time). The first two orders of this coffee came with the package opened and spilling inside the shipping box, and the second one came with the package open. I docked five stars for freshness. In an airtight ziplock bag, I managed to salvage most of the coffee. There needs to be a better seal on the bags. There was a break at one of the normal seams of the closure. The bags do not come with a built-in twist-tie closure mechanism, and they don't really stand on their own in a pantry very well. Although it does not affect the quality of the coffee, it is somewhat disruptive to how you store and consume it. Do I plan to place another order? Yes, I agree. The song is on my rotation in the meantime, but not at the same frequency as.
At a friend's house, we drank ColdBrew Labs coffee and liked it so much that we bought some for ourselves. It has a pleasant flavor and doesn't involve a lot of complicated preparation methods. It seems to be quite consistent from bag to bag based on the few times we have had it at a friend's house as well as the times we have made it at home. Since this is just a coarse ground coffee that is steeped instead of brewed, I don't give a 5 star for the value on money since I believe cold brew costs more than it ought to as a result of hype and niche marketing. Besides cold brew coffee, there's all kinds of cold brew coffee here. For me, the value to price ratio however, I give it 4 stars since I see CBL as one of the most worthwhile for its price. It's a great cold brew it's also easy to make, so if you're inclined to drink it or try to make it yourself, this is a great choice. I am going to have to deal with this. This is a review of coffee. It feels a bit intimidating to me. The coffee I drink has to taste good to me since I drink it black and I don't try to be really picky about coffee. After trying two bags of cold brew coffee, I chose this one because it was much better than the other. You can make a not-so-sick smoothie out of it Specifically, I like an overly bitter coffee with full taste (for reference, I like Starbucks Sumatra In order to make cold brew, I use a french press, so in this recipe I use one cup of coffee grounds, fill the press with cold water (about 4 cups), and let it sit on the counter for 24 hours before pressuring and putting it in the refrigerator. In one instance, I left it idle for 48 hours (oops), and it did not seem to be adversely affected by that.
