Questions & Answers

What is the method of harvesting this?

In theory, Raifsnider, you should now be able to understand the survival process better. So that the leaves of the yerba mate not come into contact with the dense smoke of a traditional wood fire, branches of yerba mate fall through the fire's leaping flames. In this procedure, the surface of the leaf is heated to 400 degrees for fractions of a second, breaking down the protective enzyme film that surrounds it. As a result, these enzymes, peroxydase and polifenoloxidase, would hinder the evaporation of the water content and cause oxidation in the leaves during the remaining drying process, which would render By doing so, the process also eliminates microorganisms that could otherwise cause fermentation and contamination in the product. As a result, the inner leaves of the yerba mate leaf are not overheated, preserving their nutritional benefits.

How does this product differ from air dried or smoked products?

As it does not have a smokey taste, I will assume it is air dried. I enjoyed it a lot!

Would you please let me know if this product is fair trade? Thanks. ?

Neither fair trade nor organic certification is available for this product. According to the fair trade money trail, a lot of the money from fair trade products doesn't go back to the farming communities that they claim to support. Because of this, we have started our own cause-related program called Just Fair, where we support causes that positively impact some of the local populations where we get our products from. There isn't a charity we would like to partner with in South America just yet, but are certainly open to suggestion!

What kind of organic food is this?

There is no doubt that this is an organic blend. The natural way.

Selected User Reviews For Organic Yerba Mate Loose Leaf Tea - 1.1 Pounds - Traditional South American Green Tea Drink - Provides Energy Boost and Aids Digestion - Packed with Antioxidants

I have tried many different types and brands of Yerba Mate over the years and I find this product to be of the highest quality at a very good price
5/5

By looking at the vibrant colors on these leaves, I knew they were of high quality. Because it isn't practical to brew tea from a gourd and I live in the 21st century, I drink tea from a french press rather than from a gourd. I find it a bit pretentious to be walking around with an iPhone and a gourd while drinking tea through a light bulb. It's my habit to brew tea quite strong to get the full flavor and health benefits of the tea, but I was pleasantly surprised by how A quick tip whether you brew this tea in a press, gourd, cup, or old shoe, the results will not be the same. It is important to let the tea soak in some cold water for a few moments in order to let the tea leaves re-hydrate Prepare the flavor by hydrating it and allowing it to "wake up" before adding Tea leaves are too fragile to shock with boiling hot water, which can wreak havoc on the flavor. This method helps avoid burnt tea flavor. You should also refrain from using boiling Pour the water in after the water has sat for a little while and cooled a little before pouring to help avoid that burnt flavor. It is up to you whether you like the burnt taste if you do, go for it. In the future, I might order from this brand again since I highly recommend it. I hope you found this review useful!.

This is deliciousness from the earth! Since I've been drinking this tea from a yellow can for the past few months, I decided it was time to make it myself
5/5

I prefer this taste a lot more than last time! Aside from the strong, earthy flavor, I also appreciate the strong aroma it gives off. Reviewers suggested that cold water be added before brewing the tea in order to "wake it up". The video is very good! I strongly recommend you to watch it! I've worked it out! I have ordered three more bags since I first tried it and will be ordering more when my stash runs I salute you.

There is a mild flavor to it
5/5

Yerba Mate is one of the most popular teas in the world and I ordered it a few weeks ago, but forgot my The crisis has been averted - The Zon has a cute version of the Zon to use while traveling. Compared to other brands I have used in the past, Maye is reasonably mild in taste. I would recommend this as a good entry point It is usual for me to drink in the morning and later in the Sweetening when I want with organic stevia is something I do. Although I feel no rush of energy, I am pleasantly alert. If it's time to sleep, I have no trouble doing so.

An energy tea with no bitter aftertaste and no bitter aftertaste that will give you the energy you want and I pay $7 more for a bag of this tea than I do for a bag of coffee
5/5

I'm not happy about that, but I can't complain because I have to switch from coffee to tea for health reasons. My coffee was my favorite drink for years but I had to give it up due to health issues My morning boost is almost gone, so I was surprised to find something to replace it. It makes me nauseated when I make it strong, and I need it strong! I have tried green tea -but I get sick when it's In order to try Yerba Matte, my daughter who lives in Buenos Aires recommended that I purchase OYM tea from kiss me organics and its suppliers. With a tea press and a cup of tea, I was pleased with the flavor and smoothness of the drink. My green tea is now as strong as I desire and I never get the nausea I used to have after drinking tea. I also get the much needed boost. In spite of this, I recommend this brand and will continue purchasing afterwards once I compare the taste and price of other brands.

Definitely a tea to try! This is a very unique tea, with an interesting taste
5/5

Here's what Meghan from KMO had to say Prepare your mug by heating filtered water to just under a boil and removing it from the heat. Add about 2 tablespoons of Yerba Mate to your mug. Fill with hot water. Wait for 2 minutes. Take a sip and enjoy any floating leaves from your mug for 5 minutes.

I enjoyed the tea very much
5/5

I had no idea about Yerba before I did my research but when I found out about it, I thought it was worth it to Adding some honey and sugar to this stuff made it really great. To me, it tastes amazing. bag is big and will last you for a while. I have been making tea daily and still have more than half of the bag left. I thought it had an awesome taste. Mix with some honey and add a little sugar and you have something that is worth having. It is a big bag, big enough to last you for a long time. I have been making tea daily and still have more than half left in the bag despite using it constantly. Great brand and great Amazon for carrying these great products. There is no doubt that this tea is something to rave about. It has received rave reviews from customers. There is nothing to be disappointed in.

Does it taste better with a smoother texture? I prefer it over Yerba Mate in a tea bag
5/5

In the past, I have used the packaged Yerba Mate, so I decided to try this loose leaf one. I normally use the packaged ones, so this was a first For this tea I make early in the morning and drink at work, so I can't use the traditional gourd. Instead, I use a small tea strainer/pitcher thing, which strains through the bottom of the container. My first attempt is where I followed the directions, which said 2 teaspoons per 2 cups Because I filled the infuser with that much water, I used those calculations, and it turned out way, Furthermore, I think I made the water too hot, which resulted in a very strong taste and a lot of burning. After the first time I used 1 heaping tablespoon of water, the next time I used only 1 heaping tablespoon. In addition, I made sure that the water did not get hotter than 170 degrees. I usually leave it steep for up to 10 minutes in the morning since I'm busy getting ready. It is perfect for the whole morning when I add two tablespoons of heavy cream to it. I think I prefer this flavor over tea bags, and I doubt I'll go back to them. I would describe the flavor as milder, and in general it seems like it has a smoother taste.
