There is a little more "brightness." The current PG Tips weren't much different from the old Yorkshire Gold, so it tastes very much like PG Tips.

We use tea bags that are just like the name brands we usually buy with the white paper cover. That would be my answer.
That's not at all the case! Although I miss the special blend and have tried virtually all of the new PG teas, I am still missing the special blend. Special blend was the only one that even came close! As a result, I stopped purchasing anything from PG Tips and am currently trying to finish the tea I bought.
