There is no tea in these junk bags, and they're already stale after only half filling them, even though the box says they expire in The customer service rep told me it is likely an printed label from a third party even though it's a NUMI box. I contacted NUMI and gave them the lot# they said it didn't exist, although it is a NUMI box. Additionally, there were fewer than 100 in the box. I received 70 and was only paid $0. A loss of $9 on 32 bags is a loss of 32/bag. The 65th century! While I did look at those reviews, I thought perhaps it was just a fluke. DO NOT BUY! does not mean DO NOT BUY! I just find it ridiculous that they put single bags of tea inside the box without their original sealed packages, may be if they were in their original sealed packages it would make a difference, but the condition of the bags looks like they were leftovers that somebody must have used. I am extremely pissed off about this because it's a non-event The item is a returnable/refundable one, but I believe in cases like these where the product is not in working order or the quantity short, there should be some flexibility.
It was one of my favorites when Numi made her tea with toasted rice and Sencha. A while ago I ran out, so I had to order It appears they have switched to a new type of matcha. Matcha green tea is normally one of my favourites, so I didn't think there would be any problem. I enjoyed having a couple cups, however, and I'm now noticing that it doesn't compare to that. There is a major difference in taste between the new blend and the old one I used to breath in the aroma of toasted rice (which used to be so nutty and savory) and the tea flavor- It is not just the tea that I can taste, but the paper of the cup I am drinking out of as well. While it isn't bad, I will have to find a new brand of toasted rice tea to satisfy my craving.
This formulation was awesome, and I gave it a 5 out of 5. I enjoyed making it a lot, and I left the tea bag in the water for hours without it becoming It has recently been reformulated and now includes lemon verbena and licorice. The ratio of ingredients has also changed - the first ingredient in this tea is no longer decaf green tea. My first impression of the new tea was that it was awful. The positive side is that it contains organic ingredients, but it tastes awful. As a result, the performance is poor and the taste is nothing like the old one. I tasted it several times over the course of brewing it and the flavor never improved. I tasted it after several minutes, up to up to 1 hour, and I never noticed any changes. The texture is fairly smooth, but it is Using an old The components of this tea are decaf green tea, ginger, and The new formulation (bad) is as follows There are ginger, decaf green tea, lemongrass, licorice, lemon verbena, and lemon myrtle to make lemony tea. I won't be buying this brand again and I'll switch to a different brand of decaf green tea for everyday use. The market for high quality, flavored decaf green teas without the mysterious "natural flavors" seems to be quite small. The lemon may be skipped and I may choose to drink a plain decaf green tea with a piece/cube of crystallized ginger instead.
Likewise, I notice from other customer reviews that other flavors of Numi tea have been reformulated in a bad way. In the event that reformulation has occurred in order to save money, I would like Numi to simply raise the price without lowering the quality of their tea ingredients or formulations rather than reformulating. In the future, I will have to go elsewhere to obtain decaf green teas and Rooibos green leaves (which Numi no longer makes).
There is possibly an issue with this product. It has the wrong taste. Numi's response to my complaint that I received a product that fell far short of the promised number of packets, and was not the same food grade tea I had grown to love, was non-existent. However, ALL of my local grocery stores have started pulling this specific Numi-brand in the past year The company took out their "Breakfast Blend" black tea from the shelves and replaced it with a variety I did not like as much, so I went looking on the web for it and realized it was this tea because it has the same product title as my older favorite. But buyer beware, I doubt this is the same product, though it was sold in the It was the same for even the little individual packets, as they did not have the same quality printing as the leftover original Numi products. Although I don't know what this thing is, neither did it meet my taste buds' quality standards nor did it fulfill its Neither the Numi website nor their customer service responded to me after I raised this issue. My search for alternatives has just begun. Would you mind sharing your ideas?.
