It's difficult for me to locate these in stores. Amazon is to be commended. The powder is a better deal, and you only make as much Gatorade as you'll need, so there's way less waste. br>br>Recommended, but make sure you'll drink it all quickly because it gets clumpy after a few weeks, so drink up!.
I like having this on hand, and I've ordered it before. This time, however, the flavor "variety" pack I received was entirely lemon lime; perhaps it was just luck of the draw? However, the product as a whole is excellent.
Heat stroke is a serious problem in Texas. When he's outside, he drinks at least a gallon of Gatorade per day, which is crucial for his health. I requested ten new, very small RX bottles from my pharmacist, which I filled with Gatorade powder. One is in my purse, one is in each car, and the rest are in my travel bags. We always carry bottled water with us when we go out. In a water bottle, I carefully pour one small container of Gatorade powder. When I see people suffering from heat exhaustion in the park or elsewhere, I give them these. This is also useful at my grandson's baseball games, where there are no outside drinks. I can buy a bottle of water, mix in some Gatorade, and watch a doubleheader in the sun without getting sick.
Maybe I need some Vodka now that I'm all lemon lime? I'm not sure why, but I was hoping for a variety pack.
It seemed harmless to go through a 1l bottle of Gatorade several times a week until I realized how many plastic bottles I was tossing in the recycling. This was a classy way to get rid of the bottles (rather than using single-serve plastic packets). br>As an added bonus, I can control the amount of flavor and sugar. br>There's also likely to be a significant cost savings, though I confess I haven't done the math.
While the bundle is a great deal, these puppies have a short shelf life: three tubs purchased on April 25th will expire on August 1st.
Since then, I've gone back to a much larger container of just the classic Lemon-Basil-Basil-Basil-Basil-Basil-Basil-Basil- Since purchasing this, I've noticed a lime flavor, but it's still a good option if you're looking for variety or something to please everyone in the family.
