Hello: Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about True Lemon. We appreciate it greatly as a small, growing company. While True Lemon is made from lemon juices and oils, we don't make any health claims other than that a packet of True Lemon tastes like freshly squeezed lemon juice. There are no calories, no sugar, and only three ingredients in this freshly squeezed lemon. Thousands of people have told us that True Lemon has made it easier for them to drink water or drink more water. This, in and of itself, has a slew of health benefits. (Also, because lemon is a natural flavor enhancer, many people use True Lemon instead of salt as a seasoning.) And, for what it's worth, we do get feedback from customers who swear by True Lemon in their hot water every morning. Please contact us if you have any further questions or comments. True Citrus, which produces True Lemon, True Lime, True Orange, and True Grapefruit, has Heidi Carney as its EVP/Marketing.
I haven't found a shelf life for them as long as they stay in a relatively dry environment; I've had mine for a few months now, living in humid Florida without air conditioning, and I've had no problems. Keep the packages dry, and they'll last months.
Stevia and cane sugar are used in the lemonade flavors, but not in the true lemon, true lime, or true orange. So make sure you're not getting "true lemon" instead of "true lemonade" and you'll be fine. I wish they didn't put stevia in any of their products because it's a little perplexing. My husband bought me the wrong item (lemonades) at the store, so I'm looking for this on the internet.
Selected User Reviews For True Lemon Bulk Dispenser Pack, 0.028 Ounce, (100 Packets)
I've ordered these from Amazon several times, both in bulk and in individual boxes. The smaller box I bought recently had been clearly opened and then clumsily taped shut with packing tape. I had to toss them out and notify Amazon because I will not eat anything that isn't fresh and sealed. This worried me a lot. br>br>Also, as others have stated, the quality has deteriorated significantly, or Amazon has not been properly storing these prior to shipping them, as the majority of the packets are hard and clumpy, as if they have been sitting in wet boxes or have absorbed moisture. This, too, can't be good for a product that people are supposed to eat, so I'm disappointed and won't be buying any more.
WARNING: br>br> While this True Lemon product tastes great, is healthy, and is affordable, keep in mind that it is still a citrus product, which means it contains (natural) citric acid, which is bad for your teeth enamel. br>br>Take the following steps to protect yourself: br>br>Drink quickly rather than slowly sipping your drink. br>br>Don't keep it in your mouth for too long. br>br>Use a straw and place it as far back in your mouth as possible (back teeth exposed). br>br>After drinking this or any other citrus drink, rinse your mouth with water for 30 seconds. br>br>Use a spoonful of baking soda (not powder) to rinse your mouth. br>br>Having said that, I adore this product; it adds a nice zing to my water. If you're currently using water drops, I suggest you give this a try.
I love lemon in my tea, but it seems like those lemons always turn moldy before I finish them. I've tried lemon juice in a bottle before but was never satisfied with the taste; True Lemon came up as an Amazon recommendation when I was looking for something else, and given the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Yes, I concur. It has a natural flavor to it. For a large cup of tea, one package is just right. br>br>I decided to buy the Bulk Dispenser. The packages can be removed through an opening in the box. The inside of each package is foiled. My package has a two-year expiration date written on it. br>br>Three things stand out in the ingredient list on my box: citric acid, lemon oil, lemon juice. br>br>The lemon flavor is the only flavor in the package; it is not sweet. I sweeten my tea with sugar in the same way that I would if I squeezed a lemon into it. Small crystals, less than a tablespoon, are included in the package. The contents of one package in a teaspoon are shown in the attached photo. br>br>Overall, I am satisfied. I just bought my fourth 100-count pack, which has a nice natural taste. It's really good! br>br>Review of Ali Julia.
When I saw how many positive reviews this product has, I thought to myself, "What's the point?" Then it occurred to me that my viewpoint is also important! So there you have it. br>br>I live in a city of a million or more people in northern Canada. Lemons are available all year, but they are so expensive in the winter that you must have a compelling reason to purchase them. br>br>I pay $1 to my Arizona friend who has lemons falling from her trees. One small, gnarly lemon costs $25. br>br>I've tried bottled juice, but the chemicals are easily detectable. . . disgusting! br>br>As a result, when a neighbor told me about True Lemon, I ordered a bulk pack right away. To be honest, I believed she was exaggerating. She was not. br>br> I started by re-creating a lemon's worth of juice and tasting it. WOW. br>br>After that, I made a glass of lemonade for myself. WOW. I can now splurge whenever I want. br>br>My favorite uses for Real Lemon are baking and "brightening. " "And I don't bother reconstituting for brightening. . . I just sprinkle the crystals directly onto my food. " What is brightening?br>br>Perfect!br>br> If you watch the food network, you'll see celebrity chefs finish off a dish with a few squeezes of lemon or lime, which gives the food a nice "bright and fresh" flavor and perfectly finishes it. br>br>I now keep True Lemon, Lime, Orange, and Grapefruit in my refrigerator at all times. br>br>*Doesn't take up fridge spacebr>*Doesn't go moldy or mushy if you forget about itbr>*Long, long shelf lifebr>*Inexpensivebr>*Easy to usebr>*Tastes like the REAL thingbr>.
TRUElemon is a fantastic product, but the packaging is either outdated (the bottom of the box shows a number of 5) or incomplete. 16 - I'm not sure if this is an expiration date or if it was exposed to moisture. So far, every packet I've opened has turned out to be solid rather than powder. I frequently order from Amazon, but I am dissatisfied with the quality of the product I received. Amazon, LLC was in charge of delivery. I'm too busy to try to return it, and I don't have the time; I've never had to return an item purchased online, and I don't consider myself difficult to please, but this was unacceptable. In the future, I will not purchase groceries through Amazon. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT. It's being thrown away!.
return the next day! The first six packets were fine, but when I opened the rest, there was dark "crystallized" sugar/lemon in them? in them (as seen in the photos). The contents of the packets were dark granular chunks rather than the usual light lemon powder. I have no idea what it is, but it does not appear to be edible. I have no idea where these came from. I simply placed them in a large bell jar when they arrived, so they didn't get wet. It's a real bummer, because I really enjoy lemon. I noticed that the lemon powder packets that were not very pliable felt "stiff," which I assumed was due to the contents hardening. I'll make an attempt to contact the company to see if they can help. I'll let you know how their company service is if they do!
P. It appears that I won't be able to upload my photos (the file type is not supported). I'm not sure how to go about doing this;.
