This is distributed by Nestle in Arlington, Virginia, so I'm inclined to agree. Ovaltine is the original, just as I buy it for my mother, who is 93 years old. The only drink her old mother will drink is this one. Thanks a lot

Unlike Ovaltine crystals from your childhood, this product is something entirely different. Essentially, this is a disolving powder that has been designed to resemble the old taste of the game.
The price of sugar is high. The cheap imitation is very sweet with little of the malt flavor that gave the true original Ovaltine its distinctive flavor. It lacks the secret decoder ring. You are paying over ten bucks for a real disappointment if you are looking for something.
It was my first time trying this beverage (even though I had heard about it all my life) and I was pleasantly It has a delicious, creamy taste, and has a relaxing effect. In the evening and before going to bed, drink this caffeinated substitute for coffee.
You can use it for a Dusty Road Sundae. I like it. I used to enjoy this at one of my local dairy bars in Upstate NY. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and Spanish/redskin peanuts topped with a light dusting of malt. This will be a great experience for you!.
I haven't tasted it for awhile since I was young when I was shared it by my parents. The second time I tried it, it tasted the same, but I am not sure if it has any true health benefits.
Prior to today, I had never heard of Ovaltine. Despite my mom's refusal, I had to buy it on my own. I tried it with milk and bought it for a cake recipe. The only thing I can tell you is that if she had bought milk, I would have drank more milk as a kid.
This is small, I didn't look up close enough to see the ounces! The large size at Walmart costs less than the regular size.
