I got this at the end of June, and by the end of August, it had a moldy smell. This is incredibly disappointing for me. Honestly, this makes me sick to my stomach.
I love making them several times a week During my recent trip to Disney World, I found Trader Sam's (at the Polynesian resort) to serve margaritas and tiki drinks, which I made following a traditional recipe. We made a trip up to their bar and had all of their drinks, and after doing a little research, it seemed that they use BG Reynolds in all of This Falernum syrup was delicious in my margaritas as a sweetener - I highly recommend it. I like them very much because they taste just like the ones served In my experience, I use this recipe I. - Drink 2 oz of Tequila (100% agave)+br A 1 oz glass of lime juice* - I would suggest 1 ounce of orange liquor (Cointreau, etc. ) Approximately 1/2 oz. of Falernum* Try this for your next taco Tuesday! Half an ounce agave nectar (you can reduce or omit this one to reduce the sweetness)
Try it!.
What I want to say is this This stuff is just as good as I can make it myself. What the hell were you thinking when you bought those? The tears that you cry are heard by me. Well, I was trying to see if it would be better than what I make, so I bought some to see if it was. This was not the case. The film is still good, though. In what sense does this statement make sense? In other words, it means that the It is important to note that BG Reynolds Cinnamon Syrup is very This is subtle. It is clean. I think you mean me when you call this cinnamon syrup. It tastes exactly like the cinnamon syrup mama made when I was a kid. It is very thick, so that is the only real complaint I have about this syrup. I can't use it in conjunction with a Japanese jigger because it's nearly twice as viscous as the syrup I make at home, and it's the only reason why I probably won't buy it again. I recommend BG Reynolds to anyone who does not possess a high level of skill in the syrup kitchen. In that case, please tell me. That's all right. It doesn't work that way. Isn't it strange how things work like that?.
The process of making homemade falernum for cocktails takes a bit of time. Sometimes you just want something ready to go, particularly if you don't have lime zest/almonds/ginger on hand all the time. When I opened up the bottle, I smelled a wonderful aroma of falernum. When I tasted it by itself, it had a strong scent and a taste reminiscent of cinnamon syrup, but with a clove and citrus undertone. In one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Puka Punch, I tried the falernum and it worked beautifully, though it also includes other flavors and Next time I use it, I would probably rate the syrup more highly 1 was the first ingredient I used to make a drink. A 5 oz glass of Jamaican rum. You'll need 75 oz of lime juice and this. The weight of the falernum is 75 oz. I had a lot of fun making this cocktail. I think the only negative is that traditional falernum does have a bit of alcohol in it, as a preservative, whereas this doesn't have alcohol, though you could easily add some vodka to it to preserve it longer. If I'm not making falernum by hand, then this will be my first pick.
The only problem was that something was always Despite being good, they were not up to the standard of those served at Trump Tower and similar establishments. On the recommendation of a friend who knows cocktails, I bought the BG Reynolds Demerara Syrup and the Jack Rudy Demerara Syrup. Both are excellent. I'm so glad. Thanks to my new access to the best, I have the best quality and flavor In addition, it is a fraction of the cost.
I gave this syrup a 4 out of 5 star rating because of the awful packing that it came in. It was great for Old Fashions that we made for our wedding, however. They could easily run afoul of each other. They are packed in a big box with some bubble wrap around them, but they could easily jumble. I was pleasantly surprised that none of our shoes were broken, especially 4 days before the wedding, but BG should really think about packing them in liquor or wine boxes instead, I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box because I could just sense that some would break.
The cinnamon syrup in the Martini "Zombie" or "Jet Pilot" cocktails is made with this product, so if you don't have the time or patience to make it, this is ideal. You won't be disappointed. In addition to the "Nui Nui" and "Tropical Itch" cocktails, it is also a key ingredient. Despite the fact that some tiki drinks lack flavor, all tiki drinks with cinnamon syrup are great.
You can make a tasty rum cocktail with this! My husband and I are trying to recreate the rum cocktail we had at the Ron Barceló Historical Center in the Dominican Republic when we were there. This simple syrup with cinnamon and brown sugar caught my eye, and I figured it would allow me to recreate the cocktail with the right proportions. As it turned out, The only thing I wish I could add is nutmeg and allspice, but short of making my own simple syrup, I'll be happy with this. A 2 oz. bottle contains 2 oz. It is a dark series of Ron Barceló Gran Anejo The weight of this product is 2 The mixture should consist of five apples juiced and one tablespoon of BG Reynolds Natural Tiki Cocktail Cane Syrup, cinnamon. Stir in the ingredients and pour into a glass. Do not over stir!.
