Michael, hello there. No, our date syrup hasn't changed in any way. However, we now carry a California-made syrup that I believe you're referring to, as we've noticed that people are getting them mixed up or thinking they're the same thing! Because we use a different process that breaks down the pectin more, our California Date Syrup is naturally thinner than our original syrup. It has not been diluted in any way. They are both identical in content - dates that have been grown organically Water, as well as other flavors, additives, and fillers, are never added to the final product. They simply have distinct viscosity and flavors as a result of different growing environments and production processes. Both of them are fantastic!
Yes, I believe so. It's worked well for me in sweetening herbal teas. It's easier to add it to hot or warm tea, but it can also be added to chilled tea.
Hello! The GAP diet allows for the consumption of dates. It also fits in with the WAPF's recommendations in the same way that honey does. Magnesium, potassium, calcium, amino acids, and trace minerals are among the nutrients found in date syrup. I hope this information was useful!

I got this because I'm not a big fan of dates, but my due date is approaching, and my midwife suggested that I eat dates to help me prepare for labor. This product works great in place of honey in my Labor Prep Tea. The flavor isn't overpowering, and the texture reminds me of honey.
I have to agree with other reviewers on the value for money; I paid $21 for a 48-ounce bottle. I've used 99 before and enjoyed it, but the amount was quickly depleted. Because the product is so thin, I've found that it takes a lot of it to bake it. I ordered the bottle of 2 pack 12 oz for $15 instead of the 48 oz because the 48 oz was not available at the time. In my house, it doesn't last long enough to justify the price. The 48oz should be back in stock soon.
I've always liked dried dates, but Date Lady's Date Syrup is something else entirely. It's an excellent substitute for honey or maple syrup. If you pour date syrup on your waffles, pancakes, or toast, you'll get a richer, more nuanced flavor experience. Molasses and caramel are prominent notes. Date syrup is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of recipes. It's great for baking, smoothies, coffee or tea sweetening, and more.
I'm a big fan of Date Lady's products. What a blessing for those of us who don't consume any sugar. I have everything I need, including dried dates and date paste, if I need a little extra "sweet" in my baking or cooking. I don't use any of these on a regular basis in my "clean" diet, but they're great to have on hand when you want to make something special. My grandkids also enjoy Date Lady's "caramel" and "chocolate" sauces. Delicious as well as healthy.
I had been purchasing from a local coop for a while--I recently purchased through Amazon and am happy to report that it is exactly the same--very delish. product. . Excellent iron source- and because I/we have stomach issues with maple syrup and other syrups, this has filled the need for a variety of dishes. We mostly use it to sweeten our oatmeal and fruit breakfasts, but it's also delicious dribbled over desserts. ie. Pies made with pumpkin or apples It comes highly recommended from me.

I use it to sweeten my tea and I've discovered that it makes the best sugar cookies (or should I say sugarless sugar cookies). It's a great product because it's all natural and it's all fruit! This is something I'll keep on my shelves for a long time.
I bought these because I thought they were California dates (an error that was corrected on Amazon). They were delicious and convenient. The date syrup made with Tunesia dates is labeled as a Belgian product. Customer service at The Date Lady Company is excellent, and they appear to be a trustworthy, family-owned business. Customer satisfaction is a priority for this family-owned business.
