We were giving these cards out as a thank you gift, and one of them had a complaint on it because it didn't have any money on it. It's a source of embarrassment for our customers. There's also no way to get in touch with the seller. Please contact us if you have read this review. We need credit for the gift card that isn't working; we paid for ten gift cards with a balance on each, so we should receive what we paid for.
I was told that I needed to activate/add them to my Starbucks app, which I did. They can only be used in this manner. I attempted to add all of the cards to my account, but it was unsuccessful. Every. Single. One. "Card not activated, please try a different card," it said. I just spent $50 on this nonsense, and it appears that giftcards are non-refundable. I'm baffled as to how Amazon allows this!.
I purchased five $10 cards as well as a $3 bill. With one of them, I made 15 pumpkin breads. After paying for the cake, there was only $2. 37 left. I was supposed to have around $5. 00 left on another card, but all I had was 3 cents. Very let down.
These were requested as client gifts by my assistant. All of the items arrived in their original packaging and were not activated. When purchasing gift cards online, be cautious, especially if the cards are being sold at face value. Consider it for a moment. This seller was reported to Amazon, and Amazon honored their A to Z warranty and reimbursed the buyer. Amazon should do a better job of vetting sellers, in my opinion. This is the second Amazon scam in which my company has been a victim.
I like to carry around a few of these $5 gift cards in my wallet. You never know when you'll want to thank your mail carrier, a bus driver, or brighten a friend's day, so it's always a good idea to have one on hand. They can be kept indefinitely because they aren't holiday-related.
I bought these gift cards as prizes for students in my class and have been giving them out throughout the semester, unaware that they are defective and have no value on each card. I had a few left over at the end of the semester and tried to load them onto my Starbucks app, but the value of all the cards was $0. I can't return the cards because it's too late, so I'm stuck with useless cards.
I bought these gift cards for my employees as a small token of appreciation. I thought I was getting five $10 gift cards, but when they arrived, I realized I had misread the description and instead received ten $5 gift cards. It's not a big deal - easy fix! However, when I went back to look at my order on Amazon, I saw all of the negative reviews and immediately became concerned. Before making a purchase, I looked at the star rating but did not read the reviews. I'm not sure what happened to some of those orders, but all ten of our gift cards arrived in perfect condition! They're all pre-recorded. No scam, loaded and ready to go with $5 each, as stated on the website. To be sure, I called Starbucks and looked at their website. When you don't have time to go to Starbucks or the store to buy something, this is a great alternative. Best wishes for the holidays!.
