Starbucks Cards can be used at nearly every Starbucks location in North America, including airports and grocery stores. Most stores in Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom accept Starbucks Cards interchangeably. Starbucks Cards issued in Greece, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey are only valid in that country. I found it on the website, but I would still double-check by calling or asking a Starbucks employee to be 100% sure.

This order caused me a number of problems. Initially, I placed an order for eight cards but only received six. Amazon sent me two more right away to fix the problem. Then two of the eight gift cards arrived with no balance, and Starbucks says it can't help me. And the return window has now closed (I'm not sure why a gift card would have a return window of only 45 days or so). So now I'm stuck with two gift cards that have no value and for which I paid $25 each.
When we attempted to use them, they were canceled. My niece received these gift cards from us. They were canceled when she attempted to use it. She was standing in line at Starbucks, having already placed her order and waiting for it to be prepared, when she attempted to use the card, which was extremely embarrassing. I had to report it by calling the customer service number on the back of the card. They had to send new cards to replace the old ones. It was a huge pain when it should have been so simple.
This is how it showed up. I'll have to go out and buy a new one now. I can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea!.
The Starbucks store informed them that the card had no balance, and all of the cards arrived in good condition, new and unopened, with each card individually packaged. I gave away a few, and I have no way of knowing if others are having the same issue unless they tell me. I persuaded the individual to photograph the back of the card so that I could see the serial number. I called Starbucks and explained that I had bought it, along with several other items, on Amazon. The Starbucks customer service representative was able to determine that the card should have a $25 balance but had never been activated, and that it originated from a Safeway store. They could also tell that the person I gave it to had recently attempted to make a purchase, but the transaction failed because the card had never been activated. I had one of the cards left over that I was keeping for myself, and while on the phone with Starbucks, I checked it out and it was a good card with a $25 balance. Coincidentally, I checked the list of serial numbers I supposedly received from Amazon, and while the card I kept was listed, the serial number of the unactivated card was not. One or more bad cards appear to have been mixed in with the stack of cards I bought. Now I have to find a replacement for that gift, as well as track down the ones I gave away. Every year, I purchase a large number of Amazon products and gift cards to give to employees and others. I'm dissatisfied, and I'd like to see something done about it. If this is an Amazon third-party seller, Amazon should avoid doing business with them.
SCAM. BUYING IS A MISTAKE. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! I bought a $50 card with the word "Birthday" on it. I got a typical card, which is fine. Whatever. br>The person to whom I gave it called me, embarrassed, to inform me that there was no balance on the card. br>I looked at the card and noticed that it had been loaded with $5 a week before I got it. There was a $5 fee to pay. 00 two days before it was supposed to be delivered. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been taken advantage of. Simply visit a Starbucks location. BEWARE OF THE BUYER!.
My wife and I have bought these for our daughter in college, our son in trade school, our pastor, and a friend on several occasions. They're simple to obtain, inexpensive to mail, and provide recipients with the opportunity to visit Starbucks several times - especially if they didn't go on such "extravagant" trips. We also like to put these in the kids' cars (visor pocket, trunk, etc. ) so that when they're having a particularly bad day, we can say, "Hey - Take a look in the pocket of your visor. Grab a cookie and a cup of hot cocoa.
This gift card was purchased as a birthday present for a friend's grandson, who also happens to be one of my son's best friends. He is a Starbucks fanatic. Because some people who have purchased this gift card have stated that it is not activated until it is taken to an actual Starbucks location, I gave him a copy of my invoice as proof of purchase. His birthday was about a month ago, and he hasn't expressed any reservations about using it.
